      Dear Lord Martinus,
      Please accept this letter as an apology for my previous behavior. I am ashamed to admit I have not been acclimating to this world as well as I had during my first visit. I can not thank you enough for your kindness and patience during this troubling time. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me, and allow me to prove myself reliable in the future.

      I am hereby requesting a few days absence in order to pull myself together. I plan to shed this current form in trade for something easier to manage, as I have not been able to maintain my usual form due to the how little I am able to consume on a daily basis.

      However, as I am in your debt, please accept this gift I have crafted from my horn. It is a charm which will allow you to contact me in the event of an emergency. Simply twist the cap off and speak into the bub.As air is allowed into the container, my dorment spots will become active, enabeling me to respond accordingly. If the charm is opened without any given instructions, I will investigate and come to your aid if needed. Unlike previous versions of this charm, you would will find this one is far superior in durability, as it does not cut easily. The only material I know to exist that can harm it would be something made of the same material, such as my claws or horns.

      P.S. It has just occurred to me that you may unaware of my current title, or lack thereof. I confess that I no longer hold the title of Duke. Unfortunately, I was labeled a demon after my disappearance, stripping me of my title and rank. Having inherited it from my departed wife, my son now holds the title of Duke. Despite that, I have taken the nickname of Duke. I hope this disperses any misunderstandings there may have been in regards to my title and name.

    • "This is a character I'm glad to say I love to hate. ICly, he's most deplorable, but the way he's portrayed is fantastically fun to read and play with. What a wonderfully written character!

      It gets better! The player takes time to roleplay each scene out instead of working off of constant assumption and 'behind the scenes', and is dedicated to the art of storytelling. I'm impressed by how much consideration goes into their writing.
