A hastily scrawled message, placed on the board that all soldiers have access to, appeared late in the night.

THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE DIES IN THE TAVERN, I WANT A REPORT ON IT YESTERDAY. EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT IS TO FULFILL ONE-HUNDRED & FIFTY PUSHUPS OR SITTUPS IN THE PRESENCE OF THEIR COMMANDING OFFICER FOR THEIR FAILURE TO GET SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A PIECE OF PAPER ON MY DESK.

IN THE FUTURE AND SINCE THIS WAS SOMEHOW NOT APPARENT BEFORE REPORTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE FILLED IN ALL INSTANCES IT SEEMS APPLICABLE AND EVEN IN SITUATIONS WHERE IT MIGHT NOT BE. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY AS THE NEXT TIME THIS HAPPENS IT WILL REQUIRE MUCH HARSHER PUNISHMENT.
