Dr. Gregory Weiss' last will and testament was read out this past week, surprising lawyers, investors, and family alike by naming Dr. Cecille Gadhavi as the sole beneficiary to his entire estate.
Doctors Gadhavi and Weiss were known long-time acquaintances, having first met for the Cybernetics across Generations panel at the Y998 San Copernick Medical Symposium. Dr. Weiss since renounced his work in cybernetics, after a famous spat with Dr Domo Corp several years ago. The bickering and arguments between he and Dr. Gadhavi during medical conferences and interviews has been legendary, including a noted confrontation at this year’s past X018 Copernick Brigade Charity Ball just days before the Bakesale Massacre. They both went mysteriously missing after the charity ball, Dr. Weiss amidst swirling allegations of purported involvement in the Bakesale Massacre. Dr. Gadhavi has no known connection with the Bakesale, but was seen taking a commcall shortly after the incident before bailing on their talk, Nano-Filament Replacement using AI Nanite Building Tech.

Despite the tension and animosity the two have shown towards each other over the years, many have speculated and hinted at a different sort of relationship between the doctors. Dr. Weiss was both a divorcé and a widower before his death and known as a notorious flirt. Dr. Gadhavi, on the other hand, despite being shoved into the spotlight countless times between their revolutionary patents, controversial arrest record, and their father’s recent step into office, has always remained secretive and detached about their private life. No marriage certificate exists on-file for the two, and Gadhavi’s inclusion into the Will was specifically by name.
This predictably has caused some uproar over the division of Weiss’ assets. The doctor vocally denounced his first ex-wife, however family of his second late wife have been more than willing to comment.
In the meantime, pending investigation, Dr. Gregory Weiss’ accounts and entire estate have been frozen. The late ex-cyberneticist had known criminal connections, and has recently been publicly implicated in connection with the terrorist organization, The Eye. Until such matters are cleared up, Dr. Cecille Gadhavi will not be seeing a penny, much to Weiss’ family’s delight.
Although Gadhavi has no concrete connections to the Eye themself, they are no stranger to run-ins with the law. Having most famously been arrested last year in connection with a joint Exploration-Peacekeeper expedition gone awry, although the charges were never formally read and have since been dropped, the doctor was discharged from the Peacekeepers shortly afterwards. Previous incidents include the Colony Evacuation of Y997, where Dr. Gadhavi was the loan survivor of the destruction of the DSS Herald, alongside their unnamed captain. Investigation saw no formal charges lain.
A spokesperson for the Galaxy Federation Peacekeepers has confirmed that Gadhavi is also under investigation for possible criminal connections in this latest case, owing to their relationship with Weiss, suspicious disappearances, previous arrest record, and surprise inheritance. Prime Minister Jaival Gadhavi has refused on numerous occasions to comment on his relationship with his only child. The entirety of Weiss’ estate will not be released to Gadhavi until the investigation on the late doctor is cleared, and may still be withheld if anything concrete is found on the Rho-12 native. Suffice to say Dr. Gadhavi is not struggling, should they fail to receive any inheritance from the late Dr. Weiss.
