The dawn had not yet cracked, and rooster had yet to crow, but the matriarch of this normally bustling ranch was already dragging herself from her bed with a groan. Pauladeen had worked up quite a sweat last night with Merci, to the point she was sure the others living on the ranch heard her well into the wee hours of the night, alas however she couldn’t sleep in, not with so much work to do and so little time to do it. Dragging herself from her sound slumber while the rest of the ranch likely slept peacefully, the beast of a woman schlepped her way through the darkness of her lands, dragging behind her a pallet of bricks, logs, steel and other supplies as she made her way to the Lorelay Lake, the vast freshwater lake that sat towards the eastern side of the main house. With only the bright moon above for light, the she-wolf began her construction project. Stacking bricks one atop the other not far from the water’s edge, brick and mortar one after another as preparation was set in motion for what she wished would be a day to remember for this humble monster ranch.

Hours passed, yet she hadn’t noticed as the night gave way to noon and the sun had risen at last to bathe the area in the light of summer, painting a better picture of what seemed like a night of work that was actually weeks in the making. A good size stage had been erected, with the clear blue water shining behind it, built by hand to house the live entertainment they were lucky enough to acquire way out here in the middle of nowhere. Chairs and tables were laid out before the stage, some strew about under large canopy style tents which were set up to provide shade to those that wanted it. It had been quite the endeavor to set up, but she felt the hardworking and dedicated staff deserved it for all that they go through regularly to keep the ranch alive and thriving. A celebration of the good times ahead and the prosperity bought on by their recent gains. As the construction of her barbecue pit was at last complete, using an old family design that called for hand building, it seemed at last that everything was ready and the commencement of the Lorelay Barbecue and Staff Celebration was now nearly ready to get underway, and not a moment too soon it seemed.

The past few weeks have had seen a certain electricity in the air as the buildup to this event had begun to lead to a feeling that it couldn’t come soon enough. Word had spread; not to the high falutin city folk who couldn’t be bothered with the affairs and goings on of those who dwelled beyond their borders, those who carved out an existence for themselves out here on the frontier of the world, but to those scattered few who called these wild lands home, they were eager to be welcomed to the ranch for a day of eating, drinking and merry making amongst others who seemed to share in their experience. Times on the outskirts were rough for many, with few reasons to celebrate, so it only made sense to take them as they came and make use of them to the fullest, an attitude that could be understood and one that was quick to be picked up when your next breath was not promised, and tomorrow was never guaranteed.

Placing wood upright in a cone like shape along the bottom of the barbeque pit, the woman stood and wiped the sweat from her brow, the sweat that no one could take from her with a satisfied look across her hard features. A tall beast of a woman with the demeanor of an old and well weathered soul that had seen too much too soon. Strong cameral flesh like the sun kissed sands and covered in scars from the neck down hidden from view under her tight-fitting sleeveless work shirt and white grilling apron. Large fur covered wolf ears sat atop her head, jet black in color with streaks of white scattered about, the same shade as her mid back length hair that was tied in a tight ponytail and bushy tail which hung limp behind her. Bright green eyes stared with pride at what she’d done as she lit the logs inside her grill and closed the lid. She couldn’t help but wonder who would show up and what foods everyone else would bring, as the cookout she’d been talking about for weeks was ready and soon, she’d be throwing the meat on the grill and preparing her homemade sauce, all the while the smoke was already beginning to rise from the smokestack high into the air as a signal to all that it was time at last.
Merci was still in her bed sleeping soundly after yesterday's long night. She and her girlfriend had a heated night, two women clashed with each other in the most intense dice game ever! But the morning sun finally won and Merci opened her eyes to greet the new day. Letting out a yawn the bat woman crawled out of her bed.

Giving a nice stretch followed by a yawn the pale woman looked down at her girlfriend's bed which was empty. Noticing that Paula was already up Merci decided to start the day as well. Changing into her usual attire which was black and pink catsuit, Merci made her way down. Shifting her gravity field bat woman stood on the floor rest of farm folk used to walk.

Merci was excited because today was the day! Today they celebrated, which meant no work! Making her way out Merci could smell burning wood and the bat followed the smell of the smoke. Pauladeen was really taking this cookout seriously, the chairs and tables were all set up and ready. Pausing for a moment, Merci placed hands on her hips “This woman” she said to herself shaking her head before approaching the wolf woman.

Merci walked behind Paula wrapping arms around wolf woman's body, pressing her body against her girlfriends back “Need help?” Merci asked to let another woman go. Moving to the Pauladeen’s left side Merci looked around once more “Sometimes i think you can run this place all alone, sheesh girl you did so much work alone. This is going to be really fun!” Merci spoke, being all excited about this small event.
Stella had elected to bring drinks. Having ordered some cider from delilah's cafe. It had been mixed and delivered in a chilled cart. And she arrived for once wearing something a bit more modest. A full on dress. Covered in sky blue fabric she looked like a proper lady. It was a special occasion after all. She'd even let her hair down. Which damn near let those pink locks dangle halfway down her back. "Howdy everyone." She'd sayvwith a smile as she walked on over in her tall boots, keeping the hem of the skirt off the ground nice and clean.
Ohh boi ohh boi! Portals and giants tentacle monsters didn't mix huh? One time you were a living cannon ball at a concert and the other an eldritch nightmare creature was running after you to take your soul....Yep! Not her best start here...umm...whenever the hell 'here' was supposed to be! Anyhow, it wasn't as bad as she initially had realized...sure she was sort of thinking to be teleported to the realm of butts and tiddies as per the advertisement of hot local housewifes in your area...but! It seems when you have excess baggage by several tons of murdering tentacle rage...well the broadband of magic portals tended to go awry, as a result she was teleported right in the middle of nowhere...still it was a good thing, aside from proper plumbing, decent taverns and less mortality rates, cities were sort of overrated...meh when your expectations were low you could sleep under a rock and be happy about it.

"Caught anything yet?" The blonde seemed to talk to apparently no one. The armored clad woman casting off a fishing line she improvised with a bunch of sticks and string. *Flop...splash!* "Ha! Another bites the dust!" The girl added as fish flew off the water being pulled to a pile of dead fish over her back. "OHH! Quit your whinning, I told you it's easy you just wait for them to nibble your lure...then bammm you press the A butto...huh? What you mean that doesnt make any sense!" The girl appeared to be doing a tantrum as she sat over the water surface? She seemed to be sitting right over an island at the center of the lake...except the island was moving, a huge shadow right underneath her, swimming under the surface.

"That makes it the number 30...I told you I was good at fishing. Now...I know you are skeptical but I know a trick to make even something as small as a single fried fish feel like a thousand...all you need to do is."

*CHOMP!*

A large tendril sprouted from the water, opened it's mouth and ate all the catch in one go. "NUUUUU!! DON'T EAT ALL THE FOOD!!! IM HUNGRY TOO YOU S#$% GREEDY SQUID!!" Elaine began to stomp down in ire only to be ignored.*Gggrgghhhh* "Mhhhhhh..." Elaine whined as she felt her stomach remember her the hungy.

"You know...I kind of miss being stuck down your throat...at least I wouldn't have to handle this." She sighed only to look at the far side of the lake...it seemed there was a house there? It was hard to see this early in the morning. "No you can't start eating people again...you will get something stuck and im not going inside again to retrieve it as you go on a rampage...yeah, but that psychic poison enhancement doesnt count!!!" She added as she tried to get a look of what was going on.

"Mhhhh...seems like they are either having a party of sorts or there's a raid going on. I see smoke. Ummm?...well it's when you invite a bunch of people. NO! It's not a buffet!!" *Sigh* she rubbed her head. Trying to explain everyday life to a mind reading abominatiom born out from cannibalistic tadpoles was sort of difficult...Sure it was odd how they changed from trying to murder each other to fish together...though in a sense this murderig monster was far more similar than Elaine had realized at first. Both had killed, they were usually better by their own and while she wasnt raised in a pool of brethen that ate each other, in a way when you were poor enough humans werent that different from a school of cannibalistic psychic squids.

"Mhhh..well where's there are parties there's food so let's check it out! Ummm? What you mean by a gift? Ohhh yeah we can't just go uninvited can we? Ohh well we will figure something out on our way there." It seems her tentacle friend was far more knowledgeable in human etiquete than she had given them credit for. "Alright! Set sail for da party!!" She pointed out the sun was just comming out behind them...A cold blooded monster was on their way to crash that fiesta! Also there was the tentacle creature carrying her underneath just what could go wrong?

*Knock Knock Knock!* A humble soft knock on the front door could be heard. If opened it would reveal nothing else than Elaine a petite blonde merc clad in armor, her armor sort of wet due her totally legal fishing and right next to her it was none other than a gargantuan worm like creture witg masses of purple tentacles, it's main mouth resembling that of a closed blossom with rows of teeth like that of a leech , it lacked any eyes yet it's 'gaze' was fixed as looked down to the housing with a rather tamed look on it if one knew their way around beasts. The blonde girl held up a rather childish handcrafted petrock with googly silly eyes and a cowboy hat. How the girl managed to get such specimen? How did she handcrafter yehaww Mc. Pebbles? Well that and many more were stories better shared with a good steak and some grilled onions to the side...also mead...lots and lots of mead.

Whoever was the unlucky soul to dare answer the door would find themselves with a rather odd scenery. With that of a wet merc girl holding a pet rock as a gift and that of a 30 feet high mutant psychic tentacle worm aberration companion that may actually think the blonde gal was it's pet...that or the creature had given up on trying to consume her mind. Anyhow! It was BBQ time! Hinted by the dead adult buffalo the creature carried, hanging from the hind legs by one of it's tendrils, quite a good hunting ground this open space was huh? Either that or that was one sick dead druid right there...only one way to find out.

If the door to the entrance was answered she would be the first to introduce herself. "Hallo! Neighboor!! Ummm..sort of...umm" Elaine pondered by a moment...She had made a camp a few kilometers away from here and since she lived in her tent it tecnically made them neighboors isn't it? Rural areas were handled differently isnt it? Ohh well! She would figure things later. "My name is Elaine! Im new in the area after a portal went awfully wrong...Actually I been dwelling aimlessly without idea where I am. I made a camp not so far from here, guess clean air is way better from that of the city aren't I right? Heh... So yeah...can you please help me out with where am I? Also... I saw smoke on my way here, is something burning? Or are you preparing a party? My friend here has a little detail for your help also me...mine is better though." She would offer her pet rock as a form to show her good will. Quite a odd mix up the pair was huh? Still it was far better than just try to break in...nah she would leave that for later, she was hungry now.
After finally avoiding the fans that constantly harassed her, she found her way to the site where she was to host the concert. Having come to this particular land, she intended to learn as much as she could. Perhaps even take the time to stick around and make it a home. As she walked around, the ranch was rather large and more than enough space. Taking her time to get the lay of the land. Two guitars on her person, the axe on her back and the other at her side pointed downwards. Wearing that attire from when she escaped prior from a café back in the city. Same black top and leggings. Skin tight and leaving a good bit to the imagination. Long crimson colored hair and vibrant purple hues. A looker to be sure but her thoughts were strictly business. Coming to the lake she saw who she assumed to be the owner of this ranch as said person was setting all sorts of things up. That stage was also rather grand and she liked that.

Walking up to the other, and without so much as a hitch in her voice or a quiver of anything she spoke." I haven't had a chance to properly introduce myself. I'm the musician you spoke to awhile ago. Myrien Keslas, musician and artist at your service." Leaving the simple fact she was also a he and that name was not really one to be prudent about at the moment. No for right now she was all business." This is a pretty nice ranch you have here, the stage is also very lovely. Though I hope you will be alright with a big crowd. My reputation has already hit all over Arterius, so it may get pretty loud and hectic. Hopefully it won't be too disturbing for any animals. "She added in softly.

Walking over to the stage, she would place her hand upon it and jump on it from the ground alone. Much was a mystery about her and she would walk the stage a moment before turning to look back at the other, " If you need some proof of my talent then I could easily play a song or two for you." She added in as she set the one guitar against a stand nearby. An odd aura would flare up from it, purple and reddish in color before it returned to being a normal black guitar with red filigree on the sides and the string were an opaque blue. The other was nothing special but a red axe guitar with black strings along it. Oddly enough there was no sound equipment or anything to project it but she had her own ways of producing the sound, a single strum of a cord and it sounded throughout the entire ranch. She would adjust a bit of the tuners on the top and strum another note that was softer yet more melodic." Might be a long concert tonight." She admitted.
Every day was a work day. Jezzel never slowed down. Even today with the party coming together, someone needed to place tables. Have chairs ready. Get plates and utensils together. Snacks and food in bowls. Drinks in pitchers and cups or glassware at the ready. This satyr was hoofing it! The clop of every step carrying her through the party site, keeping things together so that everyone else can enjoy.

Somewhere or another a drink was obviously made up for her. Everyone knew Jezzel did three things. Worked, drank, and fucked. Give her some credit where due though! Usually a nudist by nature she was clad with some booty shorts and a crop top over them big ol tiddies of hers! No bra and the white fabric doing very little with her tan and muscular skin. Cloth sticking right to her. Nips poking through the fabric. She didn't care. It was a formality for others mostly, so the monster fucking farm hand wasn't just bare and exposed around guests and food.

Things looked good though! People were here! And showing up! So Jezz took her rest now off to the side. Cup full of some jungle juice I'm her hand, getting her buzz on!
Of course like everyone else Mina was excited! The farm is going to celebrate their hard work, a bunch of strangers growing into one big family! Like everyone else Mina was ready to contribute to the party. While everyone prepared fruits, vegetables and meat, Mina was busy making drinks for everyone to enjoy. Mina’s hands might be sturdy from all the hammering, but she knew how to make killer cocktails!

The cow-woman was ready to bring drinks to everyone when suddenly someone knocked on the door. Opening with one hand while holding a tray with drinks Mina saw a curious scene before her. Listening to the blonde speaking Mina didn’t know how to react, half of the blonde stranger flew above her head “Oh hello there. Oh yes we are having a party. Would you like to join us?” Mina said, stepping outside.

Looking at the gigantic worm she shook her head “IT can’t come.” she said then looked at the blonde. “Nice to meet you Elaine, my name Is Mina. Mina Taur, we have a cookout by the lake. Come, I'll show you the way~” Mina said, making her way to the rest of the gang. When Mina arrived she couldn’t hide excitement “Hey guys! I brought drinks and a guest!” Mina said, greeting everyone. “Oh looks like the musician is already here, that's going to be so cool!” Mina exclaimed, placing drinks on the table “C’mon don’t be afraid! Come grab a cool milkshake to quench your thirst!” Mina said with the biggest smile on her face. Mina’s milkshakes were all natural, and to this occasion slightly spiked.
As everyone was prepping the lazy snake was actually busy. She went off the farm to acquire the proper meats and thus entered the forest to do a little hunting. As things were being prepped, dressed in only her tattered leather vest, her tail was dragging a bounty full of meat. She had brought in some deer, boars and a large Aether scarab, scarabs that had mutated to much larger size thanks to the Aether. All of them squeezed the life out of them.

She would drag them towards the where the BBQ pit was at and presented to Pauladeen. “Here, I have brought the food…preparing is someone else’s job” she says as she reaches over and pulls a scarab leg off. She would bend it to break it open as she brought the open piece to her mouth and began to suck on it hard like it was a piece of crab meat.

“Remember to crack open the carapace for the meat inside” she says with scarab meat in her mouth about the dead Aether scarab as she slithers away to see what she can have or do.
She was impressed with how fast everyone was turning up, though she hadn’t known many out here who wouldn’t take an opportunity to party and get off work for the day. It was nice to see everyone in a more casual setting; it was a laughable thought as if to imply her workspace was that formal of a place to begin with, far from it as she’d seen more than a few of those in attendance in quite compromising of situations more than regularly. None the less it was still quite the treat to see everyone turning up to see the function she’d thrown together, with a bit of help from Jezzel. She wasn’t much of the preying type, but she knew someone up there needed to bless that Satyr for all her hard work keeping this place running shipshape.

Merci was the first to arrive, she knew her scent a mile away, to the point she didn’t even need to look up as she arrived, resting against her lover’s back before she made her way to her side. “Heh, I probably could…but that’d be such a fucking pain…it’s easier with everyone helping out. ‘Sides I didn’t do all of it alone, only most of it.” She teased with a confident demeanor as she wrapped her left arm along Merci’s hip, pulling her close to her side with a chuckle as she let her hand rest atop her rear. “I didn’t think you’d be up so early…here to gloat about beating me in dice?” She joked leaning over and planting a kiss on that werebat’s cheek, doing her best not to let on she was looking down her top. As others soon started to arrive, she was quick to greet them, welcoming everyone who stopped by, knowing their scents so she wouldn’t have to be distracted to acknowledge them.

As she flirted with her girlfriend and began putting the meat she’d bought along on her pallet onto the grill, she noticed another woman approaching, this one she didn’t recognize at first, but after a brief introduction she found her memory jogged. “Ah right, Myrien, yup I remember now. Good to see you and thank you…it’s been in the family for generations…seen hell and back this old place has.” She spoke with a bit of nostalgia and fondness in her voice as they talked about her home, but quickly jumped to the topic of crowd size. “Ah that shouldn’t be too much of a problem…this place is in the ass end of nowhere I’m afraid. It’s a pain to find this place let alone get to it from anywhere really, so I am not expecting to many people. However, we can still pay, so don’t you worry about that.” She assured the other as she made her way to the stage and began setting up. She was quite the odd one, but she would just chalk it up to being a musician. In her time, she’d met many a decent enough of musician who was eccentric to say the least.

She’d gone hunting late at night to get enough meat to feed everyone, and was already throwing more one, flipping it and seasoning it with her right hand with such ease it’d make a modern-day chef nod with acknowledgement. Burgers, steaks, ribs, she’d butchered more than her fair share of beasts to have a spared like this, even picking some fruit for those with a less carnivorous or vegan palette. However, as she spotted something slithering along the ground with not only a deer two boars and a large bug of some kind, but she was also worried she’d have to chop up some more. “Alright now, I wish I would’ve had some of this earlier, I could’ve made some bacon with this! Aright Verde leave it with me, and I’ll cut it up and get it ready to on with the next helping…gotta figure out the hell imma cook this one…but I still appreciate it, we got a lot of mouths to feed so give it here.” The words flew from her mouth as she hefted them all one on top of the other. Holding a deer, two boars and a scarab at once would be too much for most non-giant snakes, but one thing you could say about Pauladeen was that she did indeed lift.

Walking them all towards the area behind the grill where she kept the rest of the food, she’d be throwing on next, brought a relived sigh to her lips. It hit her all at once that she’d been working all through the night and hadn’t had a break yet. Cracking her back as she stretched and figuring the food still had a good bit longer before it would be ready, the tired she wolf made her way from the fire pit, grabbing a drink from Stella’s chilled cart and plopping down violently across the table from Jezz. She took a long swig of her drink before letting out a slight burp. It was stronger cider than she’d expected but she could take it. “Fuck, my back…I haven’t had a sit down all day. How’re ya likin’ it so far, I think that’s the most dressed up I’ve ever seen ol’ Stella heh? Actually, wait before you answer I got something for ya.” She questioned before cutting herself off as she reached forward under her apron towards that bulge in her pants, right beside it in fact to her pocket where she pulled out a coin purse and plopped it on the table between them, but closer to Jezz. “There ya go, that’s payday, I was a bit late from setting up everything, but cause we’re doing so good with sales and everything, you’ll find a little extra in there. Call it a bonus.” She leaned back in the seat for a bit, watching the musician setting up and keeping her nose on the food, so she would know when she needed to get back up and sort them out. Still a bit of time though, which helped her get some much-needed relaxation in while she could.
Merci smiled listening to her girlfriend speak about how she could set it up all by herself. Being pulled closer Merci didn’t resist, she pressed her pale body against werewolf wrapping arm around wolf-woman lower back. Hearing comments about her sleep habits Merci giggled “It’s not my fault you ruined my sleep schedule. Of course everyone needs to know!” Merci teased girlfriend back. Being kissed by Paula, Merci let out a purr, her pale skin turned pink but the blissful moment didn’t last for long. People began to pour in, at first Stella with her drinks, then Jezz with more drinks.

Looks like everyone had the same idea - bringing drinks. Merci didn’t mind this at all! With musicians arriving early and Mina bringing a new face this party was going to get crazy! And Merci was all about it! Merci left her girlfriend's side for a moment while Paula went to take a seat. Merci made her way to Mina’s milkshakes grabbing one she took a sip, the sweet cooliness took over her mouth followed by a gentle sting of alcohol.

As Merci sipped Mina’s all natural milkshake she watched Verde bring more meat for them, noticing what was on the menu Merci made her way to her girlfriend who was chatting with Jezz “Having fun you two?” Merci asked placing her drink on the table then walked behind Paula. Placing her hands on Paula’s shoulders she began gently massaging tensed up females muscles “Babe you need to relax.” Merci spoke softly trying to help Paula relax just a little bit.
Stella looked a little disappointed. "Well if I knew y'all were bringing drinks I wouldn't have spent so much on the cider and gotten something else." She said as she plopped down several pitchers of the spiced apple juice. "Maybe we shoulda coordinated who would bring what." She'd say before plopping herself around on q seat on the outskirts of the tables.
Hurray! It seemed someone was home as there was little wait between Elaine's initial knock until someone answered the door...and ohhh boi did Elaine's mind went blank as her eyes weighed down to blalanty fix their gaze upon the woman's wiggle doers. "Ughhh..." Yep! Elaine could certainly be distracted by a pair of milkies~♡ If half of what she initially said had gone over the woman's head then...Elaine would be on a negative digits as her brain did some neuron activation.

"Uhh? What?" Elaine finally managed to do a will save as her gaze was brought up to the woman's question. "Ohh sure! I would love to!" The blonde replied without actually knowing what she was signing for, for all she knew it could be a blood ritualand she just dived in without a second thought! Those beewbs did have true mind control powers huh?

"Mmhh" She raised her brow at the mention of her not being allowed inside...it kind of made sense, since well...30 ft tall worm with a lenght of at least 120 ft...it couldn't fit through the door! Isn't it? "Ohh cookout by the lake? Sweet that's public propert...I mean it sounds lovely!" Elaine gave a cheerful shout, turning back to her tentacle friend. "Ohhh don't worry just wait for me back at the lake...I make sure to toss you a burger over the fence, besides its not that you can fit through the door!" Elaine added comforting her misunderstood abomination.

*Splat!!* The tentacle creature dropped down the buffalo, leaving it over a pool of slippery goo, before leaving toward the lake.

"Aww don't be sad! We will bring armagedon down to that underground mole people you spoke of!" She waved to her friend. "Heh...tadpoles" She shrugged as she went to follow the minotaur girl...what was her name again? Mina? Mino? No that was her species...ohh well she would figure it out!

"Mhhh oh wait...mhhh...." The merc paused feeling something was missing. The buffalo of course! Uhmmmm how she was gonna do this? She was no monstergirl! Nor had a large size to pick it up...She could chop it off here and now...but it would leave a bloody mess like that of a horror scene if she did! Mhh actually no! She didn't need extra strenght...nor a luxurious form. She was human! She had science on her side! Technology...of course she could figure something out...and...She got nothing.

"Crap..." She whined. Ohh well she may not have that much of an imaginative mind but she had a strong back! Sort of. "Hyyyuughhhhh!!! Ahh....hyyyuugghhhh!!" And Elaine's quest of dragging began, a process that was rather painful to look at honestly, pushing that goddamn buffalo all the way to where the music was coming from.

"Pffahhh!...phew!! Woo...great success...ghhhhh..." Elaine peeked from the side of the cow, miraculously managing to drag the schroddingüer's buffalo. Was it an animal? Was it a druid? Elaine no longer cared! She was exhausted and her back hurt like hell...curse this oversized burger!

"Uhh? Ohhh hey! Everyone! Im the guest!...umm pizza's here? My name is Elaine, nice to meet you all!" Elaine chuckled waving at the rest of the patrons just as a lamia passed by carrying not only one but three catches with ease. "Pffff show off..." She mumbled between her teeth, then realized that contrary to the city...this place lacked much humans...ohh dear once again it was her responsability to be the ambassator of the human race....Then she saw someone on the stage ohhh it was another human! Yay!!! Someone to talk to or umm maybe not since they were busy playing their instrument...yeah she had no idea who all these folks were but being with another living being that wasnt a mass of tentacles was rather reassuring.

"Ohhh what's that? Uh? All natural?" Elaine stood up, closing in the table with the drinks, the girl switching her gaze between the milkshake and the woman...Milk...Minotaur girl...Milk...Minotaur girl....milk...ohhhh!!!

Neuron activation indeed....

"Sin miedo al éxito!" Elaine normally didnt drink from anything that wasnt her mug...but this time she made an exception. Gulping the whole thing in one go, leaving her lips adorned with a milk moustache. "Tchhh...ahhhhhaahhh!! Wooooo!!! THAT'S THE STUFFF!!!" The girl cheered happily, raising her empty drink high as her cheeks reddened...ohhh yeah she could feel her strenght returning! Such was her euphoria that she failed to realize the vampire lady infront of her and the near nudist satin...sapphire...Satyr! Yeah Satyr that was close by...ohh damn! Still it had been her first drop of alcohol in a long time add that she was in the middle of nowhere and there was no way to replenish it! Of course any drink would feel like glory though this drink did pack a punch itself.

Unlike most of the ladies here...The merc didn't show off much of skin...really all the skin she showed was that of her face and maybe her ears. The woman looked more like that of a knight brought out of a fairy tail...though her scent...it said otherwise as while it couldnt be whiffed by a normal nose an enhanced sense of smell just like that the werewolf could easily detect the stench of alcohol...almost as if she was a walking distillery...as it would leave a lingering pinch in one's nose, yet beneath what would be the scent of a common drunk there was something else...a faint cooperly aroma, the trace of blood...of blood mixed with fear for those few that knew it's scent.

"Hechate un cachimbo weon!" The blonde spoke in a strange language though what wasnt strange was the fact she was dancing over a table, bending her body forwards, swaying her body to the sides, burger in mouth. The girl one quick to fetch herself a burger once one came out, not stopping her feisty self cause why? While her dance might not match the current music it did match the music in the background inside her head.

"🎵~Hey! Hey!...Hey Listen!...Hey listen!~" THe merc sang by herself quite happy in her own stupor till she fell down...ohh well seems tables werent meang for dancing! But the floor was!

"🎶~ Elaine and tinkles! Friends with each other~♡ living in never past bedtime land~🎶" The merc began to sing as she waved her arms to the air, the fall making her change the tune in her head, seems all she needed was an old school smack to the face....Though it seemed she didnt need to as she shut up herself...she didn't remember the whole song...ohh who cared? She resumed her dancing waving her arms in the air without a care showing how to shake el cuchicuchi.
Jezz was quick to replace the soon empty Mina-shake with one of the newly arrived ciders that Stella brought to the party. "You think this all ain't gonna get drank?" Jezz teased, popping the cap on her horn with finesse! Clearly done many times before! She stayed by the tables though as everyone else was piling in, dropping off their contributions, and making friendly with one another. Paula soon to come to the table too though had the Satyr smile and eye the boss up and down.

"I'd be a liar if I said I didn't love a working girl." Jezz teased the boss. Seeing how much work Paula had been putting in too, there was no wonder this place was shaping up so good! "Oh?" Jezz saw the coin bag produce itself and be handed over to her. Pay and a bonus?! Wonderful! Jezz grinned and wiggled her eyebrows. "We'll just say this is for hard work." She joked. Jezz always the first to joke about herself and her risqué involvement with plenty around the ranch!

When Merci showed up and hung off her girlfriend, Jezz took a long drink from her cider and then walked around the table behind the werebat. "Keep her resting. I saw the new lot of butchering Verde brought in. I've got this one." Jezz paused behind the two lovelies and gave Merci a playful smack on her ass. Hoofing it over then to back behind the bbq pit.

On her way she bobbed to the music. Bottle in hand. Sway to her hips. The newcomer seemed right at home already! Jezz saw Elaine, while off beat, just dancing it out. "Heh... party to your own rhythm, gurl." The Satyr slinked in, and with her hip bumped into the merc playfully. But then off on her own path again making way to the butcher pit. Grabbing the knifes and cleavers, and getting right to work!
She was standing on the stage and getting several thing's set up. Not caring so much about the food or drink. Myrien preferred to stick to the craft she was good at. After setting up a microphone stand and watching her bandmates begin to show up. As they set themselves up she would strum out a few chords. They were pretty silent but would still echo around." Alright so concert will begin in a few hours, so practice and get ready for tonight. Will be running a lot longer than usual, but it's a special occasion." She spoke to the members as she proceeded to the edge of the stage and jumped down. Walking around it as she studied all the activity going on. Walking around the area just to see all the going on's. She was now employed here but without knowing what her actual role was aside from being a musician she was aloof to look around. With her bandmates practicing a bit, she was free to do as she pleased.

Noting the one from before she had talked to, the owner of the ranch herself. She walked along the tables and took in the sight of everyone. So many different creatures and things running around. She did not really mind too terribly much, simply for the fact she accepted how people were entirely. After all, she had issues with her own gender most the time, so who was she to judge anyone. Walking over to the owner she would speak softly." This is a pretty nice place, I am happy to perform for everyone. Perhaps after the celebration, I could find something more permanent around here. I have travelled many places in the world, but so far this place is better than most." Trying to make casual conversation, Myrien did not do well in that regard, more of a recluse due to her particular issue. Without a guitar on her back or one in her hands, she was a rather robust looking woman. Human or not, she was one particular wild turkey. She would look over at the other who was near Pauladeen." Hello, it's nice to meet you, I'm Myrien, the entertainment for the celebration." Adding that little tid bit in.
Miina was a bit confused about where the woman got buffalo, but she didn’t question if the blonde gift was a gift right? Watching the blonde realize why milkshakes were natural Mina beamed with pride! Watching the girl finish drinking in one gulp Mina clapped her hands “That’s the spirit!” she said looking at the stranger before giving a gentle smack on the blonde's back. “I like people who know how to drink! Come grab another one!” Mina encouraged newcomers.

Mina’s ear twitched, catching Stella’s words “Please excuse me.” Mina said to Elaine before walking to the bunny girl. Wrapping arm around a much smaller female minotaur woman pulled the girl closer “Why such a long face cottontail?” she asked, grabbing cool cider Stella brought “I don’t think it was a bad idea! We love drinking, and more booze on the spot means less walking and more enjoying drinks!” Mina said while taking a sip of cider “Mmm so cool, i love it!” she then let go of the sitting bunny girl and took a seat next to her.
As for Verde, she slithered away from the others and towards the lake. All the snake cared was food and food wasn’t ready yet. For all she cared if someone wanted her, they would call her or come after her. Verde just wanted to relax and she was going to. She would slither towards the coast and stretch out on the shallow shoreline letting the water crash upon her snake body while the other half rest just above the water and enjoying the water and sunlight on her body.
The Lorelay matriarch had earned a moments peace at last. The work had been a lot, but she could tell from the expressions throughout the crowd that it was well worth it as everyone seemed to be having a great time as far as she could tell. There wasn’t much to do out here in the middle of nowhere but work, drink and a third thing she found herself doing quite a bit more with Merci in her life, though as such it only made sense to see almost everyone with a drink in their hand ready to wash away their troubles. She was no exception as she downed the last of her cider in one big gulp, as Jezzel was taking her earnings and moving to help cut up the newest batch of meat. She was right to hoof it towards the fire pit as the sound of her hand meeting Merci’s ass bought a fierce growl from her lips and a snap from her jaws. It came as a knee jerk reaction, almost like a native instinct, deep down she knew the satyr meant no harm and was only teasing, but her body acted on its own to remind any that the werebat was hers.

“I swear these people are gonna drive me to drink…..more!” She laughed as the fruit bat massaged her tired shoulders. Seeing her place down that milkshake with a chuckle as she reclined back into her touch. “That’s Mina’s shake, you know those come out her tits right?” She teased taking her own sip of that milkshake, detecting the subtle hint of moonshine hidden behind the milky sweetness. “Phew, that’s not bad, but it’s strong, careful ya don’t get drunk off this.” She teased Merci as she spotted the musician for the party approaching. She hadn’t realized she’d be bringing an entire band, but the stage was certainly big enough for it so she didn’t mind. “Awww well that is nice of you to say, I’m sure everyone will be happy to hear your performance too. Oh, you want to stay here, are you sure? It’s a far cry from playing music to what we do way out here after all, and if you’re here you’re gonna have to work and work hard.” She spoke with a bit of confusion as to why a musician would even want to live on an animal ranch like hers. They had the room though so it wouldn’t be impossible, just odd for her to wrap her head around.

“But if you’re serious talk to me after the show and I can take your measure and probably see about making some arrangements.” She nodded as she spoke, taking another sip of the Werebat’s milkshake as she heard her strike up a conversation with Merci, it showed she was a friendly sort at least, before she sprang from her seat, leaving the drink on the table as her nose detected the subtle aroma in the air, wafting over from the grill like a morning breeze. “You two chat, I have to go….the meat is ready to be flipped!” She raced off towards the grill, hurrying along past everyone determined not to let the first round of meat burn, that’d be no way to start the celebration. The sizzling sounds only grew louder as she approached, signaling she’d made it just in time. The flames burned strong and direct, right as it should, focused by the style of barbecue pit, cooking them to perfection just like ol’ great grand pappy Lorelay had engineered it to.

Looking out she still needed to talk to Stella and Mina, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves already, and the food was nearly ready, so she might have to wait a bit for it. Between the people she didn’t expect and the potential new staff member, it was shaping up to be a pretty good evening and that was before everyone had even eaten yet! One thing that did look out of sorts was that she couldn’t seem to see Verde anywhere even though she had just seen her not to long ago. “Once it’s done I should bring her a plate…” She sighed under her breath as she seasoned the food, knowing that since they had more than enough drinks, it wouldn’t be much longer now.
Merci kept working on Pauladeen’s tensed up muscles listening to conversation that was happening between them. The bat woman watched Jezz get up and walk past her, suddenly she felt a Jezz hand connect with her round bubble butt. Being caught by surprise Merci let out a gasp Merci looked at another female letting out a giggle she winked. Hearing her girlfriend's growl Merci chuckled leaning closer she kissed Paula’s cheek “It’s okay baby they are good people.” Merci spoke softly.

She let go of Paula’s shoulders and instead she began to massage her wolf ears, gently stroking them while she listened to her girlfriend speak “These people..” Merci paused before scanning the area around her watching how farm workers having jolly time Merci smiled. “These people are something special for sure.” Merci finished her sentence Hearing Paula mentioning Mina’s milkshake and where it came from Merci giggled “Yeah I know, that’s why it’s so tasty~ Maybe I should try and milk you? Maybe wolf milk tastes even better..” Merci teased her girlfriend.

When the musician approached the bat, the woman gave a warm smile. “Hey thanks for playing for us. I’m Merci. It's nice to meet you.” Merci introduced the musician, shifting her body to face the musician and the bat extended her arm towards Myrien. “it’s nice to meet ya Myrien too. Do you really want to stay here with us? That’s so cool.” Merci said being all excited.
"Thanks Mina.. oh. The cider isn't alcoholic. Cause I don't really like the taste of booze so I got something sweet instead." She said as she chugged one of the milkshakes, not actually picking up the booze that was in it at all over the milky sweetness and the distraction of the ongoing conversation.
"Yehawwww Ma girl!" Elaine gladly took another milky...ummm err Milkshake! The girl not stopping her hip shaking as she danced to the imaginary tune in her head...until. *TAP!* "EHH!!! Who touched my butt!!!?" The merc paused looking around not managing to see the naughty culprit...Though enough to hear something about 'rhythm'...mhhh was that her usual imaginary voice talking? Or was it another one? It sounded different. Mhhh she rubbed her chin, slowly drinking her 'boobshake' until she saw the sexiest thing ever...an abandoned microphone stand.

"Concert starts in a few hours?" Elaine managed to overhear one of the band members. "Hehehe...Ain't no time for that." A mischiveous look formed on her lips, seems a bit of karaoke couldn't hurt while waiting right?

The merc slowly withdrew herself with the grace of a clattering tomatoe soup can, going up on the stage, evading the rest of the band members who seemed a bit busy in their business...far easier to sneak by when there was no aether automaton keeping watch huh?

"Ladies and gentlemen...this is mambo number...ughh...I mean this comes from the heart." The blonde took the mic in her hands, kind of shy since hey! it was a stage! Make her crush a dude's skull against a rock and she would sing you the whole ABC while doig so...but the real deal? That was completely different. Hell, She wasn't even sure if it was even turned on nor if she was gonna be tackled down...still that wouldn't stop her now isn't it?

"I've gotten used to
supernatural insanity~🎵"

"Enough to presuppose my

make a mark upon the world!~🎵"

"Yeah this is it!!"

"I feel like I'll never
look back and never let go~!"

"Yeah, I feel like I'll never look back
and never let go!~🎶"

Elaine sang her heart out, which was a good thing considering she did turn the mic on, accidentally...Still! Even while lacking proper background music or special effects she compensated with an energetic voice and a thunderous determination...also for not losing her tune in the case she ended up being chased around the stage, seems all that singing in the city rubbed on her? Or maybe it was just the alcohol in her system...ohh wel who cared? Certainly not her! As unless she was tackled down she would finish her song with a stylish spin ending by raising her hand up in the air...and an explosion of smoke...Seems she still had one last one smoke bomb gem stuck in her armor from that other concert huh?

*Cough! Cough! Cough!*

Definitely not a planned explosion! Though it was far better it was just a smoke bomb than the real deal! Ohh well just her luck.
