There are a lot of softer sounding names, like Lalnan which wouldn't be impossible just less likely. A lot of these do work nicely as a generic name generator should. Is there a way of editing this or is it confusing?
the last three letters of the name as i'm sure you know are any three letters from (usually) a same sex parents name. So this part works out nicely.

Edit the shit out it! I would say getting rid of some Ls in the c morpheme will help, and increasing the non-L ones in the k morpheme to alter the likelihood. I will poke it later if you want buuuuut i got an animal in my lap hohoho
You can also make it more complex, like if you want to say "troll names can never end in N or L" you can add a new morpheme that represents consonants that are valid for an end of a name, and find any wordform where the first name ends in a c and change that c to the new one

I am v interested in playing the shaman. I picture her as an old forest troll, maybe forest/mountain, around 150 years old. If shamans are allowed to have families, hers is very big and she has had multiple husbands but is now a widow ... though I also like the idea of her having no family of her own but has adopted other peoples families to be like a grandmother. Long curly stark white hair, quite "haggish" and full of leaves, twigs, and maybe even animals and birds a la Radagast. Large droopy ears with exaggerated lobes, probably smallish horns, a big bulbous nose. Have you given much thought to magic? Obviously she isn't chucking fireballs but I would like to see her have the ability to commune with animals and divine the future using bones and guts, as well as perform blood rituals like with determining the future leader. Lemme know how alla dis sounds!
Question: are the surnames always 1 syllable? Or could someone be named Burruk'ora or Burruk'aor?

The only rule is that they are three letters of (usually) the same sex parents name. So more than one syllable is perfectly doable.
Also that sounds good about the shaman. There isn't a lot of magic, i have put plenty of thought into it but i want that quite restricted.
Shamans are specifically skilled trolls who are not bonded yet have a connection to the world around them, they can perform a ritual to choose a new leader in the absence of a bloodline (as she did). She will have connections to animals and the world around her as well as occasional visions but these cannot be controlled. Very insightful into how people are feeling or what they are thinking, may sometimes be able to spirit-walk or communicate with people in their dreams. They are very rare but held in very high regard.
The one Shaman that went with them to the new land worked for the old king. When he was killed she worked for the new king, Korgmak, and fled with the prince when the opportunity arose to help guide the new settlers. I like to think she knew the prince would die but had to keep it to herself so that the journey was completed. She was probably very involved in the late prince's life growing up, because she worked for the king for many years.

Yes, perfect! I also would think that there is probably some superstitious stuff shamans do that doesn't actually do anything. Like in real world religion lmao. Like, the actual visions come randomly, but Inka believes she must do x y and z to trigger them and beyond that it's confirmation bias.
And all that about her history I love. I also think she has utmost trust in Ganuu even though many people are skeptical of him. Maybe some people even think that somehow she influenced the dragon to pick him on purpose, because he is young, and they believe she's pulling some strings? Idk! I'll make her app soon!

The trolls are very superstitious, but there are some truths interwoven with troll superstition. I need to do a culture page soon and that should have a lot of it on there.
