We run a very large setting and encourage our players to interact with it to tell the stories they want to see! Unfortunately, while the setting is meant to be highly accessible, we have a busy team who can’t regularly host such things. So that’s where we invite our players to run the show from time to time, on occasion even reaching out to secure hosts for official events!
However, to prevent any overlap in ideas or incidental impositions upon the lore, we do require that players submit a form to run their own events (anything advertised or larger scale that might involve the public).
We welcome all types: live events on Furcadia, slower paced scenes on Discord or the forums, and even more extended, setting wide occurrences that may last for days in-character (and can therefore be addressed in multiple scenes on any platform).
We are limiting submissions for the time being for the sake of ease - if a slot is open below, feel free to apply! We’ll advertise when any become open. We also recommend applying as early as possible before your intended event date, in order to provide time for advertising and discussion.
If you have an idea for an event you’d like to run, please fill out this form and PM it to Rook, Rigby, or Tar. The staff will then review your event as a team and assign a ‘case worker’ to help you run your event - posting announcements, assisting with tweaking any details where necessary, etc. They’ll be there as backup and to answer any questions you may have throughout the process! Upon approval a secondary form for advertisement purposes will be provided for you to fill out (this is where the public details, images, etc. will go).
