With Tommaso's help, Cienna had brought along items along to one of the stalls her family often used in one of the marketplaces. She had jars of olives set up, bottles of oil and a few small bowls carved from branches of their various olive trees. "Thank you, I should be good from here." She said, as if her brother wasn't going to hang around nearby and keep an eye on things.

Thankfully, she was still given some space.

The usual buyers arrived, paid for their usual and Cienna occasionally added more from the cart to the display. She had brought along a stool for when it was quiet, and a book was hidden underneath the stall, next to the shards she had locked away. She'd dress in her usual sari, but with a family pin neatly displayed over her heart.

Rigby — 08/31/2020
Of the egg-twins, Raali always seemed more interested in how living things were put together and how they could be taken apart, and spent many waking hours hounding his mother and Jaspur about the former and Quinne and Arron about the latter. Akka meanwhile was content to marvel at how these humans and human-like folks couldn't just...y'know. Eat it.

Stil, if Arron could prepare the ingredients to perfection, Jaspur could cook impeccably, and the cooking and synthesis was where Akka's interest reignited.

At least until it was his turn to get the ingredients and the olive oil for it all.

Akka wasn't the social butterfly, he'd needed the backup if he was going to be out like this, and Raali, the asshole, had floated off somewhere into the market with a "Don't blow up whatever you get," which seemed a pretty tall order, and a "Catch up, I'll find you. Don't tell Dad or Papa~" - likely chasing a shiny sari he'd pretended not to be interested in (but Akka knew. Of course) with his pocket-money - and leaving Akka with his list.

Cool.

He tried coping at first by shouting a few choice words of which he knew none of his parents would approve, but his sibling was already gone. Deep breaths. Fuck him, too, Hope he liked the dress.

The oil was the easy part - the little dove was drawn on the shopping list with a decisive 'accept no substitutes' sort of flair. It was by matching the pin and the symbols that ensured he didn't get overwhelmed on his own, though it was a noticeably weary little elf, complete with whippy little dragon tail, that finally slunk over to Cienna's stand.

A frowning weary little elf. There was a lot more here than he'd been expecting and he had no idea what he was looking at. Olives were good for snacking though. "Hey. Um. Hello. I...think I want that? For cooking. Maybe that bowl too. And those? What's the best you've got for forty shards?"

Rook — 09/01/2020
When the little elf wandered over with interest in the wares, Cienna immediately stood up. He must be one of the new faces that arrived, or maybe she just didn't run into him before. Both were likely! "Good afternoon!" She greeted in return, dismissive of Tomm's glance over and she'd pluck up one of the bottles.

"I can give you one of the smaller ones for five shards, just to see if it's to your and your family's liking." She offered, but then the bowl was mentioned and she'd assume he'd want a little one for himself. If not, there were others!

"Two shards for a small amount, four for a medium jar and eight for a larger one." Cienna showed him all the sizes, along with the size of the bottle. "Would you like to try one of the olives before you buy them?"

Rigby — 09/02/2020
"'Lo." He blushed, slightly. That tail flicked thoughtfully and involuntarily; its agitated pace picked up a bit when he glanced over at Tomm, but those rapt orange eyes otherwise remained attentive on Cienna.

"I know Papa likes 'em. I'm still working on the cooking part. Dad's expert though. 'Look for the dove and just get what they've got.' So I figured you guys were the big shots and all! Like...old money, knew what you were doing, else they wouldn't be saying anything like that." This dad (or papa?) seemed AWFUL choosy!

There were subtle differences between 'Dad' and 'Papa' that amounted to more than the slight German accent on the latter - Bels taught the kids pretty quickly that while their own group seemed fairly lax about certain social measures, it wasn't exactly a normal 'thing' in many worlds.

"Right down the middle. Let's get a medium of everything!" And she lured him in with snacks - eyes sparked, tail flicked, ears flicked up. "Sure! Ummm...just one then?"

Rook — 09/02/2020
The change between Dad and Papa had her wondering, though Cienna wouldn't pry so soon. "Yes, we're pretty much on the top of the olive business here. No one better!" Sure, there was competition, but she would stand by that they weren't concerned by them. "I'm very glad you've heard of us already."

She smiled at him and plucked up a little toothpick, so she could skewer one of the olives to offer to him. "Sounds good to me." A medium of each, and she'd push them over so he could grasp them easily enough. "That'll be fourteen shards." A fair price for the quality! "Do you want anything to carry them in or do you think you'd have a handle on it?"

Rigby — 09/06/2020
He carefully picked out the shards, still apparrently acclimating to swapping one currency for another (with no shortage of brief, furtive little don't-look-at-me-I-know-what-I'm-doin' glancess at Cienna and her brother), and handed them over.

He gobbled that olive down - before remembering some manners and dipping his head with a little 'thank you!' chirp. "Cool. Still, y'know. Getting used to who's who. We just moved in, still so much I'm getting the hang of, right? I know you guys. I know OF the royal people, haven't like. Met them. You guys, some of the other rich people. The fighter family with the tiger. Heard there were dragons out at sea, but Just have to...get used to it, right?"

He'd gathered up his spoils, then tilted his head. "Sure, ma'am!"

Rook — 09/06/2020
After receiving the shards, Cienna would lock them up in the box below and then lock up the 'cabinet' it was in. She had taken out her book and smiled when he gobbled down that olive treat. "I understand, I haven't gotten to meet a lot of your family and friends yet myself." Three so far, and she hoped it'd change soon.

"Dragons, hm? I wonder if they ever come here." Cienna said thoughtfully, though she hadn't really made a point to go and look around. Soon perhaps. "Where did you all come from? What made you guys decide to come here?" She asked, resting a hand against the book infront of her.

Rigby — 09/07/2020
"I want to meet them when they do, you know? Bet they're ANCIENT. Ancient enough for stories and STUFF." He grinned, shifting his haul around to better hold it all. "It's a LONG story." Tail flicked thoughtfully for a moment, but he decided to launch into it anyway (after one more glance at Tomm!)

"I've got a family that moves around a lot. My mom's not...ma...rried?" It came out at least a little easier than the queer dads, but it still came with a bit of a flush anyway. "And when we hatch, we kinda'...pick our parents for extra protection. 'Filial imprinting,' Dad or Raali'd say, if they want to get all Latin about it. It just happens so we don't get gobbled up or whatever, but it's not like we'll ditch them after we grow out of it, that'd be weird. So we got this huge family in the first place, so when one of us packs up, we all kinda' do."

"Eileadora, where we used to live - there was some undead army coming down on us, and the island was on some weird leyline and blew up every other year anyway one way or another. Idunno. Was like living on a volcano. Don't think Mom was really keen on stuff blowing up around babies. I don't know why we went to Belsthame after that, people were burning at the stake there too and we weren't really allowed to go out without adults or human disguises.

"At some point, a couple people in our group picked up a whole orphanage, so there's that, too. Don't know them as well. So we're kind of just...tired. And this place seems to be the best of all of them." He tilted his head, puppyish. "Who'd you meet?"

Rook — 09/07/2020
"I bet they are!" Cienna agreed, though she wasn't sure if she shared the same feeling. Ancient dragons might not take so well to her! When he started his story, she would sit up straighter to listen attentively.

Hearing him talk of hatching was strange, but perhaps something she'd have to get used to! "What about your actual parents? Aside from your mother, of course." She had to ask, just for curiosity's sake. "That makes sense, looks like it worked well for all of you!" A travelling family sounded endearing, though Eileadora was a new place to her.

"An undead army? That sounds terrible!" As well as the calamities! "Well, Belsthame sounds just as bad!" Who wanted to disguise themselves constantly? "I thought I saw a lot of new kids recently. Have they all a place to stay?" Maybe the current orphanage to help them find new families.

"It is a very lovely place, I'm glad it's all gone well for you. The people I met were, ah, a Quinne...a Ganu?" She wasn't sure. "And an Iris. I never really talked to them though.."

Rigby — 09/07/2020
"I don't...know who my real dad was." Spoken with a preteen's insistent attempts to shrug it off in what he'd imagined was a Very Mannish Way - something that utterly failed and carried with it the implicit understanding that... yeah, it still kind of bothered him. "Mom doesn't even say his name, and that's kind of the weird part. My big sister knows hers, En knows his. Mom had an original guy before the both of us, no kids though, we know his name. But me? Nothin'" Didn't bug him at all, or end up as long and weird conversations between the three littler dragons late many nights, either. Nope.

He snorted at Cienna's remark about how well it worked! "It's cool 'til we all have to line up to...go through customs or something! Or if they all came to your stand at once!" Imagine this market on a holiday, his family'd fill it right up!

"Yeah, they kind of all showed up right before we left, the kids." He nibbled another olive, and only managed to swallow somewhere in the middle of his next sentence. "Some are just too little to really be friends with. Except the ones like Wyn. But I'm trying, anyway. I didn't try for a while just because I knew they were all supposed to be adopted out and I was scared I wouldn't see them again. Easier if they're all here." That did edge up into slight oversharing, but the merchant lady was proving really easy to talk to! He'd only flushed a little.

"QUINNE! Yeah. He's like...an uncle? Ish? I think? He works for Papa but is always around. Gib- Ganu's a good friend of Mom's, they always end up finding wizard schools and labs and things. And politics." Ew. "They're probably going to go for it here too, they can't HELP it..."

Rook — 09/07/2020
"I'm sorry, but you have good fathers now, yeah? And an extended family!" What could be better? She could understand wanting to know about his real father, but idly wondered if there was a reason for it. Keeping those thoughts to herself, she leaned forward. "I would not mind it being busy. Ooh, one moment!" A couple customers came and went, though she wouldn't chat them up for long.

A simple 'how do you do, how is your family' sort of quick conversation. "Oh? Well, I am glad you aren't going to lose out on potential friends. Who is Wyn?" She had to ask, incase she saw him once in passing. "Taking a full orphanage though. That is something else! Did one of you own the orphanage for a while, or did they have to close?"

Either seemed a possibility.

"Wizard schools and labs. How fascinating! I wonder if you'll find that here." Cienna would grin, locking up the shard box again. "Oh politics. Always....ah, fun." Not really.

Rigby — 09/09/2020
"Politics." He shuddered and grimaced theatrically, even throwing in a mute little gagging gesture for the sake of entertaining her! Politics. (Though he swallowed that quickly and put on an overly proper face, one that smiled, nodded, and tried to casually snack on olives 'discreetly' in the background, once her customers rounded the corner to visit her booth!)

He returned, happy to engage! "Wyn? Oh he's kind of like...a little cousin. Quinne, he's one of Papa's best friends, he goes traveling a lot and saved this little naga. Kind of adopted him now, he followed my brother n'I around a LOT and I love him to bits, he got really fun once we could start getting into stuff. Quinne got a few others from that orphanage too, he doesn't mean to pick up any of the lizard-folks but it just happens."

"I really don't know what happened there, they were just all of a sudden with us too. I don't get it, maybe they just bought them all." He'd no concept of money other than a blossoming want to hoard it all

"I'd like a wizard school. Wouldn't that be EXCELLENT? Anything can happen!"

Rook — 09/10/2020
"I'm going to be amused if you wind up getting wrapped up in them." If she was still around when the dragon was old enough to handle such things, since she'd no idea how long it took for dragons to get to adult age! "A naga! I don't think I've seen a naga before." Very likely. "Seems lizard folk are some of the more frequent visitors here."

From dragons to naga and now little lizard rogues. She wondered what else would pop up that fit that general group.

"Perhaps just adopted at one go!" Probably quite the large fee, though! "A wizard school would be excellent, yes! I would have to come snoop around, if one appears. I've no magical talent, but that doesn't mean I can't see how it all works, right?"

Rigby — 09/11/2020
A theatrical shudder in response to the last political suggestion!

"Mostly just lizard-folk, except with a snake instead. They're kinda' cool! Probably all come from a similar place, y'know? Never really thought about it before, that's more my brother's thing." Raali would only contemplate evolution between sneaking various critters into his room, though - of course!

"Yeah, they'd be ass-jerks -" Easy; he was speaking to a lady and a grown-up! " - to shut you out. We had enough of that...shutting-out stuff in Belsthame. Except the other way 'round, you know?" Though even Akka couldn't turn a youthfully blind eye to shades of the same in Thornmouth, so he cut it off at that. "If I ever end up in one, I'll invite you in. Put on a show or something. Fireworks, but better-! What's flashy powers if you can't put on a show with them, right?"

Rook — 09/11/2020
"Maybe! I will have to find out someday." It all seemed very fascinating, and certainly better than reading about it all in books. While the city had some supernaturals about, Cienna hadn't much luck with socializing with them yet.

Ass-jerks. She chuckled despite herself, and she'd nod, plucking an olive from a jar for herself. The look her brother gave at her sampling the goods was met with a cheeky smirk and the removal of a shard from one of her own pouches.

"I'd like that. Are you able to do any magic right now?" Cienna asked curiously, leaning forward. "We don't need a school for that, right?"

Rigby — 09/16/2020
"I can...maybe. I don't know much like...useful stuff. But that's cool. When I put fireworks together and stuff like that? That's just the good old brain. The magic part comes in when the things all -" he interlocked his fingers and then mimed an explosion with both hands "- react."

"I can turn into a dragon! That's kind of magic! Like a camouflage magic. Won't do it now. If I were my real size, I'd scare away all your customers!" It was delivered with a grin and blatant bull - this was very clearly a kid, and even if his two-legged form wasn't short for his age, kid-dragons weren't particularly known for leveling marketplaces! Maybe he was self-conscious about it! "I caaaaaaan...hold on... Raali does this better. He can...blink." And after screwing up his face briefly, he emitted a sharp pulse of light, one that quickly coalesced into a little will-o-wisp that hovered at the elf's side. At an unspoken command, it zipped quickly around her products like a little pixie, before returning to his side and winking out of existence again. "Best part of this is when it works underwater! Makes exploring MUCH cooler!"

Rook — 09/16/2020
"That makes sense!" Cienna said, though she was curious over his dragon form. Was it that large? "Well, maybe if there's ever a magic school, you can show me then." She suggested, though when he mentioned 'blinking', she wondered over that a moment. The will-o-wisp that appeared grabbed her full attention and she'd hold a hand out as it zipped about, eyebrows raised. "That's something else! I bet it's great for exploring caves, too!"

After a couple more customers, she decided to pack up. Once everything was on the cart, Tommaso would be the one to take it home. "Do you go underwater often? How did you learn to make the little wisps?"

Rigby — 09/17/2020
He nodded. He'd totally show her!

"Yeah! So see, my brother, sister and I? We're REALLY good at staying underwater for a long time before coming up for air. I think I won with an HOUR, but it's not like I was counting and I don't think Raali or Jenna were, either. Mom said our father could hibernate underwater but that sounds boring and not sure I wanna' try it." Another difference - that 'father' was distanced from 'papa' and 'dad.' "Sometimes I just...want to go, you know? And there's all these stories about islands and sunken caves and treasures and old dragons out there...but if I go out after them, I won't go alone."

He frowned in thought after she'd asked after the lights. "I don't...know. It's not like...spells. It's more like...you know if you can hop on one foot or if you can curl your tongue or make your finger joints go weird without spraining something. That's what the lights are, kinda' like with shifters," he stopped that comparison there - comparing one innate or instinctual magic against another magic wouldn't have taken him far. "...needs a little practice to get good at it or show it what to do, but it's something that just happens for me." Mild regret there - he'd teach her, if he could! "I found out when it got too dark in our rooms after we moved to Eileadora. It was just...a want, and then boom. Light. Sibs weren't too happy with me," he added, after a beat and another wicked little grin.

Rook — 09/17/2020
"I'm envious of all you and your family are capable of. I'm from a simple human family, and I don't think any of my ancestors had magic." It was a shame, and some part of her wished she could do extraordinary things. "Maybe you'll change your mind when you're older, get some alone time underwater when you need a break?" She asked with a grin, brushing a lock of her hair behind an ear.

"Oh! That makes sense." She had some idea of innate abilities, but only really from books. "Do you practice often?" Cienna asked, leaning into the booth after picking up her book and she'd hold it to her stomach. "I bet! What sort of things can they do? Do you all have different abilities?"

Rigby — 09/19/2020
"You kidding! Know how much stuff humans had to learn how to make work without magic? It's crazy!" It was meant as reassurance, but the enthusiasm was genuine, too! "The stuff I really want to do doesn't need any inborn-anything. Just a lot of studying. Maybe some magic in getting the right ingredients. My big sister's the same way, magic can go into the stuff she builds, but it's more just studying on where to put everything to make it work right. Magic's in the parts used and maaaaaybe in some of the...sense of what works good with each other. Unless you want something to blow up!" A grin. Hey, it happened!

He did seem to be aware that he was about to start rambling about clockwork and chemicals and that could be BO-ring. So he cleared his throat and shook his shaggy head, doglike.

"What I'm saying is, 'guess - don't worry about being born all normal! You can learn some magics in books, you can get some later if you REALLY want, but that's like...life-changing stuff, turning into other things for good." He knew enough vampires, werewolves and one dragon possession to cite, if necessary!

He listened to her next question, head angled. "I practice a lot! We all can shift into something two-legged. Raali's the same way as me with the lights, maybe 'cos we're outta' the same egg, but he's a lot better at like...shifting. He can look human if he wants, already. One sister...dreams. Mystic stuff." Might've been the best summary of it all. "Other sister shifts and can...traaaaansfigure? She's more into clockworks. It's all over the place. Mom's kinda' all over the place too."

Rook — 09/19/2020
"Oh? Just studying?" Maybe she'd find some books and try her hand at it, if only to see if she was capable. Some part of her worried she wouldn't be, but none of her family had attempted magic before....as far as she knew anyway. "Where do I start? Do I need to speak incantations or..?"

He seemed the source of this possible knowledge, so she was content with asking him many things. "Well..I will try what I can! Turning into other things..?" She asked, adjusting her shawl. "I don't know if my family would like that much." It wouldn't help her role in getting a suitor, she was sure, as far as they'd see it.

"Clockworks? That sounds fun, too. Dreaming mystic stuff though.." It was all so fascinating. "What does your mother focus on?"

Rigby — 09/19/2020
"Yep. That's one way! It's all in how you speak it and if the magic wants to listen, Papa says. You get it wrong, it gets offended and might trick you back. You get a familiar - like...a little magic animal-thing - they can help out too, some of'em can hold onto magic if you want it."

On shapeshifting, Akka outright grinned devilishly and punched the air with his free hand. "It's how you rebel! Shapeshift! Fight the man! Or don't." Ah...probably 'don't' - this was Grimani, after all. Stuffy and old, probably. "Maybe learn to be one of those secret shifters that just can change things like the color of their hair or how tall they are or something. Get WAY pink hair or get it done up in rainbows - and then just magic it away before they drag you to the barber's!" He waggled his fingers in another mini-air-punch and mouthed another 'fight the man!' anyway.

"Mom? She's a little bit all over the place. She studied up, likes figuring out magic and machines and how they work together. She's kinda like my sister like that, and kinda like Raali where she knows a LOT about how animals and people are put together and that helps her figure out new shifts. She's old though. Kinda. She had time to study."

Rook — 09/20/2020
"I see, I see! I never thought you could learn that way." Cienna always assumed someone needed to have the talent before, or atleast some noticeable magical ability that could be molded into something more. "A familiar? Hm..." Finding one would be the fun part, too, if she even knew where to look.

"Oh no, perhaps not." She could only imagine how her parents would take to some rebellious nature outside taking off with a pair of twins on 'wild' adventures. That made them exasperated enough, but not enough to send her somewhere to refresh her etiquette. "That would be fun!" Make herself taller, indeed. Rainbow hair, too, had it's appeal.

"That makes sense! I wonder, do you know if any of your family or friends have books I could maybe look over..?"

Rigby — 09/20/2020
"Yeah! Papa does put it as like..." He affected a cocksure German lilt and stood up about as straight as he could, wobbling his head and hooking thumbs in his belt. "Arguing with magic. All the time. Magic is a cat that listens only when it wants and half the time just wants to show you its ass. Or an anal-retentive who cares about your pronunciation and will ignore you for days if you forget its middle name." He relented. "Papa likes learning things outside of what he's already got." Despite a couple ass-filled metaphors.

"That's it!" was a wicked grin!

And on the books, he frowned, tapping the free hand's fingers on his lips. "I'll see what I can find! Mom's got a whole hoard. Might be a struggle to get any others though." Again avoiding the dads-business - though Cienna had already been so easygoing and curious about the rest, he'd probably slip the fact in without issue. He tilted his head. "Any requests or should I just see what they've all got?"

Rook — 09/22/2020
"That's an interesting way to look at it. I've dealt with many cats, maybe it won't be too hard for me." One could hope! "What does your papa know?" It was strange, hearing of so many people that had magic abilities. The fact that she might get a chance had her excited!

She nodded, moving her hair off her shoulders. "If you could see what they've got, I..I would like that. Nothing scary though, please!" She didn't want to summon some big angry demon!

Rigby — 09/22/2020
He thought back, brow scrunched up. "Papa likes...the stuff part of it. Charms and curses, old stuff - the weirder, the better. He figured out how to make magic happen from drawing things just right, he looooves researching stuff he can't figure out right away. He did say he had a little gift with earth magics, but all he does with it is make weird plant-animals he can sell. He thinks they're funny." THAT was said with a little bit of distaste - making animals wasn't funny, it was what people DID with the weird animals that was where the punchline lay! The veggie lambs were otherwise really nice!

"Nothing scary," he repeated, tempted briefly to find her something scary (or at the very least, a silly hex) before deciding not to.

"No curses, no monsters, no summons. But..." And he leaned in conspiratorially "...I did find a tiny summons back when we were on the ship and we'd keep trying it after bed. It just kept pulling our uncle into our circle. Sometimes this other guy too. Could've been smoking, could've been eating, could've been picking their noses. Bam. In our circle they went. No. Matter. What." It was funny - especially with that strange guy just trying to enjoy his pipe outside.

But he demurred after a little snort. "It's only funny when we do it though. I'll hold off!"

Rook — 09/23/2020
"Charms and curses? Goodness, I don't know if I could do that." Well, maybe charms, but curses were different! "Plant animals? That's neat!" She could get into that, too. "Yes, I'm not sure if my parents would approve if I got into darker magic."

Not that they would, at all, but they were pretty against the practices. When the little conspiracy talk happened, Cienna listened quietly and attentively. "Oh! You must be so very talented. I would like to see more of what you can do.." Though, not at the embarrassment of others, as funny as it sounded! She grinned, still, and nodded.

"I appreciate that, though!"

Rigby — 09/23/2020
"Sure you can! It's fun! Hex your brother! Hex more brothers! Hex me! Just little ones, like the magic version of dropping a banana peel in the walkway or setting up massive farts at the dinner table, or hiding all the toilet sheets. Y'know. Stuff like that, little hexes. Harmless! No soul-sacrifice or whatever to get there!" And another toothy little conspiratorial grin. "Don't tell'em."

He shook his shaggy head like a dog and rolled his shoulders. "You should meet Raali when he catches back up, we can catch you on another market day and show you...some stuff. As much as we can in the market without like...guards showing up."

Rook — 09/23/2020
"Little hexes, hm? Maybe I will!" Cienna wasn't much of a prankster, but it sounded fun. She did have siblings, too, afterall and she was sure annoying Tommaso without him knowing it was her would be fun every other weekend. "I won't say a word!" A playful wink followed, and she'd glance around a moment.

"I would like that, perhaps it's best we both get home. You do have to get your purchases back there, right?" And before dinner, should someone need the oil or olives for a meal. "We could always just...go to the park and do something, I do get to wander occasionally." Within reason, though.

Rigby — 09/24/2020
Akka grinned broadly at her promise to keep that secret! But then looked at his armful and his face fell a bit.

"Yeaaaaah. Guess if it wasn't...NOT-my-stuff, it'd be different." He was probably holding up dinner! Maybe both of their dinners. Weird way to make a first impression.

The park suggestion saw him raise his shoulders and nod his head in a bob. "Yeah. Yeah! Call it a plan, we'll get wandering! Not like I'm going anywhere. Little sick of moving anyway. The going-places part is AWESOME but carrying the STUFF?!" Yeah, no thank you. At least not until Evren managed to get them all bags of holding when they got older. (They certainly weren't trusted with any temporal-spatial ANYTHING, right now!)

"Maybe at closing time again or someting, when all the stalls are coming down."

His next task: memorize the way to the park!

Rook — 09/25/2020
"There are atleast other days for us to meet up and you can help me see if I've any talent like you do." She said excitedly, and had it not been for the hour, she might have just suggested he show her after walking him home. "We'll meet up soon, then!"

Perhaps the next day, but she reminded herself not to be too hasty. He probably had things to do, too! "Oh yes, I can imagine moving isn't fun for any of you." Atleast they had a ship and help, right? "It was so nice speaking with you. Have a good night!" With that, the noblewoman stepped away, heading for where Tommaso had gone.

Rigby — 09/26/2020
"Next time!" Broadly grinning, arms full of his shopping haul and in a far better mood than when he'd begun his trip, he flashed her a little salute and wave. "You, too!"

Who needed a magic academy, anyway. With any luck, Akka could be his own one boy man professor!

He spun on his heel and headed back into the market for one last errand. Likely, Raali was still just hamming it up at the nearest stall-with-saris he could find!
