A Short History
The trolls of Kongensvik (“Kong – ens- veek") have escaped from the mainland to Helligdom Island (“Helli – duum”). Now they must start a new life in an unchartered land, hoping dearly that they are not discovered, and if they are, that they are ready when the time comes.
The old king, Baalrag'uut, was betrayed by his own trusted warrior, Korgmak'tun and the dark king and his two headed dragon rose up as the new troll king. The prince, Buutar'rag, was able to flee and find the new land, which he prepared for settlers for a year in advance by himself. When he returned, he gathered forces and fled with settlers in the dead of night to the new land but was mortally wounded by another dragon in the process. He perished on arrival and the shaman, Kilnar'vol, performed the ritual by which a new leader would be chosen.
Six months have passed since the settlers arrived in Kongensvik. The three dragons, hatched from eggs they arrived with, grow stronger and larger every day. The settlers still struggle to recognize their young leader (Ganuu'bit) as a leader at all, but the settlement is well built and the trolls have reestablished local trade and livelihoods with the equipment they brought with them.
