  • There's a time and place for everything...

    The general rating of the RP Repository is PG-13..ish. Please keep all postings, player biographies, player and character icons, and names in keeping with this guideline. The only exception is on character sites themselves -- if you wish to exceed this rating, you must accurately reflect the manner of the excess by checking the warning boxes for violence, sexuality or language.

  • Except for the things there aren't times or places for.

    You may not use the RP Repository to post or transmit illegal content, to advertise, to spread chain letters, or to spam. Please, no characters under 18 in sexual situations, even if you as a player are of legal age. Also, and we think this should go without saying: Be nice.

  • Seriously, be nice.

    You may not harass other players, sexually or otherwise. Disagreements must be conducted in a civil fashion.

  • We'll do our best to keep an eye out for bad behavior, but we can't be everywhere at once.

    Remember that this is a community, and the majority of the content comes straight from other users, not from RPrepository.com. If you see anything mean or nasty on the site, or anyone sends you anything that makes you uncomfortable, asks for your password or personal information (such as your name, address or phone number), please let us know immediately. However, making false reports is also a serious offense, and could get you frozen.

  • You are a guest.

    Remember, this website is a community. We reserve the right to prohibit the use of the site to any user at any time. Be a good guest.

  • Save the pretending to be other people for your characters.

    You may not impersonate RP Repository representatives or employees or pretend to be a member of the staff.

    You may not log on another player's account, nor may you attempt to gain the account information of other players or distribute their passwords to other players. Even if you are given the password or learn of it by any given means, you may still not log into an account that is not yours.

    One account per person, please.

  • Your creative stuff

    Your original characters are still your original characters. However, we may at times wish to feature certain characters on the site or talk about them in newsletters. They might appear in passing in promotional or tutorial materials. If that's not okay with you, please remove the character from the site.

    In addition, if you say something about us or how you use the service in an email to us, on our message boards, in a news comment or in any other communication with us and it catches our eye, we might want to use it on the site or elsewhere when talking about the site. If you're under age 18, remember to ALWAYS check with your parents before you send anything to us or post anything on the site! By sending in your content and comments, you (and your parents) are agreeing that it's okay to repeat on the site and elsewhere what you say, and it's even all right for us to use it in an ad. So, this means we can use it in any way we want, anywhere, until the end of time.

  • Other people's creative stuff.

    By uploading or posting any content, including writings and images, you certify that you have the right to use said content. Please do not post copyright works to which you do not have a right or explicit permissions to use. If we are made aware of your use of copyrighted content, we will have to take it down and possibly suspend your account if you persist in posting content that does not belong to you.

  • Privacy

    We will never sell or distribute your email address without your consent. However, by using the site, you agree to receive occasional communications from us regarding our service, or notifying you of things happening with your characters, such as new friend requests. In order to identify you on our site, logging in requires that you allow us to place a "cookie" in your browser's cache. In addition, third party advertisers may also place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons to collect information about who is seeing their ads. This is standard to almost any site you visit on the interweb that serves ads.

  • Legal Stuff

    This site and all materials contained on it are distributed and transmitted on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The appearance of external hyperlinks and/or other materials generated by third parties does not constitute an endorsement by RP Repository, its subsidiaries and affiliates, of the opinions or views expressed by these third party web sites. RP Repository explicitly disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, content, availability, currency, completeness or quality of the content contained at these sites. Further, RP Repository is not responsible for the quality or delivery of the products or services offered, accessed, obtained by or advertised at such sites. As such, neither RP Repository nor its subsidiaries and affiliates are responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information contained in these sites. The internet is a big place. Be careful out there.

    In no event shall RP Repository have any liability to you for claims, damages, losses, etc. exceeding the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing this site. Here's a hint: The site is free.
