I've been roleplaying for quite a few years now, around twelve. I started out on forums playing a lame excuse of a human cleric, and that lasted for two to three years. Then I stumbled upon Furc, and haven't really roleplayed anywhere else since late 2003 early 2004.
On Furc, I was set into a new world where humans were really not welcomed, and thus; Gabe was born. His design originally started out as my adoration of huskies, and blossomed from there. If you look under the Artwork tab on his profile, you can see how he changed throughout the years by looking at the thumbnail images.
His latest redesign was brought upon by a whim after reading another player's website profile. Then with the help of a very talented artist, his new appearance was finished. All that remained was a background that came completely from the darkened recesses of my mind. Viola! The new Gabe is made.
The reason I moved here was because I was sick of the websites people use on Furc for their characters, what started out as RH (which is gone thankfully) and has moved on to F-list. I really don't want to read someone's profile and see everything they like to do sexually. It's like a cheat sheet for an IC relationship, completely removing any and all fun that comes from roleplaying.
Here, most people are forced to put the time and effort into their character's. Giving away some details about them, leaving the element of learning about them in the forefront of the roleplay. That's something I can appreciate very much.

There are a few things you should know about me, the player, before actually wanting to RP with me. Due to my experiences in the military, I am on a variety of medications. The reason I warn you of this is because of mood swings, and the lack of attention given to just about everything. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does happen I am apologizing for it now.
