Mysterious Oversized Purple Flower Bulb Obtained from: Trick-or-Treating event RP This was won from a spin-a-wheel stand. It's an oversized bulb of some flower that Wanda isn't sure of. The merchant who handed it to her gave her a joking warning, but she's no idea if he was serious or not. |

Multi-Fit Diabetes Bag This bag fits basically all of her supplies to manage her diabetes. The bag has room for her insulin pump, infusion sets, two insulin pens, pen needles, dispenser with alcohol wipes, a glucometer, glucometer test strips, a lancet device and lancets. It also allows her to carry around a writing pen and log book. It's extremely important for her to carry this bag with her at all times, even more so than a phone or a wallet and/or cash. If she doesn't have access to it, her life is put at risk. |

Minimed 640G (Insulin pump) An insulin pump is a device that delivers insulin through an infusion set. It contains a small single use replaceable insulin reservoir, and a motorized piston pushes insulin from the reservoir through the tubing into the infusion site. Pumps offer 'insulin profiles' that allow for fine-tuning of 24/7 insulin delivery, which is more difficult to achieve with regular injections. Insulin pumps are connected and worn on the body 24/7, with the exception of showers, swimming and sexual intercourse. In such cases, the tubing disconnects from the inserted site with the colored clip, and can be reconnected later. Wanda's pump can be fastened to the outside of her trouser pockets, or on her bra beneath her tops. |

Mio Infusion Set Out of all the sets she's tried, Wanda likes the Mio set the most. Each infusion set comes with a plastic insertion device that ensures the teflon cannula is inserted correctly. Because it's possible for infusion sets to stop working, get ripped out accidentally or end up hurting and need to be changed, she always keeps at least one infusion set in her bag at all times. Video demonstrations on how these are inserted: Quick guide In-depth guide |

Novorapid Flexpen (Insulin pen) Wanda keeps insulin pens in her bag even when she's using the pump, in case of pump failure or when her reservoir runs out unexpectedly. The pens use disposable needles that are screwed on and then disposed of afterwards. She also uses the pens to fill her reservoirs instead of vials, so she doesn't have to worry about her backup pens expiring. |

Glucometer, lancet device and test strips The glucometer and lancet device allow her to prick her fingertips and put a drop of blood on the test strip, which then measures her blood sugar. The results are digitally displayed on the meter and automatically sent to her pump, which logs the reading and gives her the option to take insulin. |
