Rocky and the man continued talking for a bit about nothing in particular before Rocky finally switched the topic back to the MK43.

"Aight. Well before I forget let me go ahead and pay for this thing. Also let me get a strap for it and a couple boxes of ammo for each off my guns."

The man nodded and went to a shelf in the back where he grabbed the requested items and started totaling everything up. Quietly Rocky pulled out his wallet and paid him throwing in a few bucks extra as promised for keeping the new weapon in good condition.

"I'll be right back. I'm gonna go ahead and put the ammo in my truck."

"Ok." responded the man as Rocky disappeared out the door. As rocky put the ammo in his truck he paused a bit hearing a sound that he knew shouldn't be heard around here. He quietly looked up and down the road as his look grew serious.

"There ain't no rapids around here... Why do I hear rushing water?"

Finally spotting the source in the distance, he widened his gave seeing a torrent of water a ways up the road rushing towards him.

"Ah what the...?"

Hopping down from his truck he quickly rushed back inside and grabbed the strap from the counter and put it on the MK43.

"You still got them surf boards in the back?"

"Yeah why?"

"Get em now and don't ask why. We got a problem and we need to get to the roof."

He then quickly rushed back out to his truck and got under the seat pulling out Roxy's sai's and stuck them in his belt then grabbed his sword from behind the seat and fixed it to his belt as he dashed back in. As he went back in, the man was coming back out with said surf boards and a questioning look.

"Go! To the roof!" Rocky practically demanded.

Not asking any questions, the man opened a door behind the counter revealing a set of stairs and dashed up them with the surf boards as Rocky threw the strap of his new gun over his shoulder and quickly reholstered his desert eagles as he followed the man upstairs. On the roof he looked up the road and grabbed one of the surf boards from the man.

"It don't look high enough to over take the roof so you stay here unless it starts to get too high. Just surf out."

"What about you Rocky?"

"I got a sister on the ground out there. And I'm gonna hope I can get to here when this water does so she can take impromptu surf lessons. They say the best way to learn something is to do it."

As he spoke, he kept his eyes on the water as he walked towards the edge of the roof. As it neared, he looked back at the man and spoke a bit more.

"You stay safe Austin. I'll be back with something to pick ya up when this stuff is done."

Austin nodded as he spoke.

"I'll be damned. You know my actual name."

"Did since day one. Just never used it."

Rocky then smirked as he looked back to the water and as it got close enough, he jumped into the air and threw the surfboard under his feet and landed atop the water and was quickly carried down the street.

"Surf's up!"

(OOC: Fun time! Heh. I had too long of a post in mind so again I'm splitting it into 2 parts. Heh.)
"Fuck. That's water. Okay, Roxy, here's what we're going to do. We're going to go outside, and I'm going to kneel. You're going to stand on my shoulders, and then you're going to climb onto the roof of the store. You're going to help me get up onto the roof, and then we're going to start walking across the rooftops to wherever your brother is. Once there, I'll give you back your pistol, and then I hope you don't shoot me, if this is what I think it is." Michael noticed that the serial number had been acid burned off of the M9. Silently giving his approval, Michael checked outside the 7-11, to make sure it was still clear. It was. Motioning to Roxy to come with him, he ignored the store clerk, busily calling his girlfriend.
She was about to pick up the pizza back up when her hand froze. Her eyes narrowed a moment, she was listening intently. "what the..." she looked up from the pizza and nodded as Michael spoke. She had figured out that it was rushing water she was hearing. "There's no fucking water around here." she perked a brow as Michael continued talking.

She vaguely caught what Michael was telling her, as they headed to the door. She was trying to figured out what was going on. As they went through the door she realized the date, "No. Fucking. Way." she sounded a bit astonished truthfully. Roxy wasn't the type to buy into doomsday stuff, so thought it was all bullshit.

"Okay, so we go to high ground...." her piercing blue eyes were flashing rapidly around, looking to see if she could locate the source of the rushing water sound.
He would continue surfing down the street as the torrential waters carried him, carefully navigating himself to avoid street lights and other things that were still above the waters surface. He looked around, his eyes frantically shifting about keeping an eye open for Roxy.

"Hopefully she heard the water and got the hell off the ground..." he muttered to himself.

As he continued looking forward, he spotted the 7-11 he had dropped her off at and sighed lightly.

"Best part of surfing...don't gotta stop for red lights."

He then focused his gaze on the 7-11 as he tried to stare into it from where he was but to no avail. After another brief moment of scanning the area, he spotted her and another man he couldn't identify working their way to the roof. It was then he yelled hoping she could hear him over the sound of the rushing water.

"Climb faster sister! This water ain't slowing down!"

He would then start to menuver the surfboard towards them with the intent of getting on the very roof they were trying to get on and help out. As he did so however, he hit a small lurch in the water causing him to swerve off course and go smacking harshly off the side of a brick building adjacent from the 7-11 as the surfboard practically exploded upon impact with the same building. He hit front andface first causing his nose to break on impact. As very quickly afterwards he was pushed along the wall and through one of the windows and into another wall inside the building quickly knocking the wind out of him. He growled lightly as the water repeatedly pushed him back against the wall soon cracking a couple of his ribs from the forceful impacts. After what would seem like forever however, the water would seem to slow down a bit and even settle. At least in their area.
Thankful the girl was climbing, Michael felt a hand grip his ankle as he hung off the wall. Looking down, he saw a man in his early twenties, face distorted with anger. Over the rushing of the water, Michael heard something about 'splitting the girl', but anything beyond that was cut off when Michael shot the man. The body tumbled away into the water, and Michael slipped the pistol back into his belt before pushing on Roxy's foot.

"Do you think you could climb a little pissing faster? It's not exactly fun down here."
After a moments search for the location of the rushing water she gave up can began to climb, the girl wasn't a fan of heights not in the least thankfully this wasn't overly high. As Michael started to prod her into going faster, she looked down for a moment shot him a glance, "Keep your skirt on." she knew that he wouldn't be pleased with her choice of words, and at the moment she didn't care.

As she neared the roof her brother's voice hit her ears, looking to him she nearly slipped. However she quickly caught herself and pulled herself up on to the roof, as she turned to offer Michael a hand she was looking around for Rocky, a worried expression on her face. She spotted him as he collided into the wall a shout came from her, and her blue eyes widened in worry.

As the water died down, she was moving along the edge of the roof frantically looking for her brother. "Rocky! Do you see him?" She asked Michael, "Rocky!"
He grunted lightly as he lay against the wall after the water had receded a bit. He groaned weakly as he forced himself to stand after a bit only to fall back over. Following the fall a string of profanities would emerge from his mouth and rather loudly at it. He growled a bit as he stood again and hobbled his way to the window he had crashed through and leaned out it weakly looking down at the water. He would then growl lightly again before looking towards the 7-11 and yelling out weakly.

"Hey. Sis! You ok?"

He would then cuss loudly again as his hand would get cut on a piece of broken glass from the window.

"Sonuva cunt bag I'm gonna kill that fucking water!"
"It's not a bleeding skirt, girl. And yes. He's crushed against the wall beside the dumpster, because the Christ forsaken water won't let up. Wait, he's getting out of it now.... Okay, yeah, your brother seems really angry at the water, Miz Valhria." Once on the roof, Michael kept a lookout for any intrepid looters, aiming for a bit of rape on the side, which Michael wouldn't be tolerating. Although not his pistol, with the sense of danger nearly killing his upper back, Michael was glad of the weight of the Beretta M9 in his hands. It was familiar, and what was familiar couldn't kill you, no matter who else was trying to achieve that goal.
Roxy was relieved to hear Michael say he had seen her brother, but she still felt sick to her stomach, she couldn't see him. They young woman was frightened that something deathly had just happened, and he was the only one she had in this world, and it scared her beyond words to think he could be dead. When his curses hit her ears a wave of relief visibly washed over her, inside a silent prayer was whispered, "Yeah, I'm okay. Michael was smart and got us up on the roof. You okay?" she knew her elder brother wouldn't have the slightest idea who Michael was.

She looked to Michael, "Just got up here, ready to go back down." She looked over the edge of the roof to the street.
He glanced over towards the roof again after cursing at the water some more then chuckled weakly.

"And here I was about to give you surfing lessons. Hang on a sec..."

He then disappeared into the window and started roaming about for a moment. He then soon found another window and smashed it out using his big gun as a tool of destruction and peered out the now broken window towards the roof and looked towards her. He just stared quietly before wiping a bit of blood from his nose though more still existed from several scrapes on his face from being dragged along the wall. He then glanced to the other person who he assumed was this Michael she spoke of.

"And I heard what you said bud. I ain't behind no bloody dumpster. That's for rats and the homeless."

He then noticed the gun in his hands.

"And give her back her gun. You want one? I got 4 on me."

He then looked down at the water filled alley.

"What do you guys think we should do about this mess? Gonna take more than a mop to clean up."

He then shook his head sending droplets of water flying from his soaking wet hair.
"I said you were crushed against the dumpster, Mister Valharia. Miz Valharia, I believe this pistol is yours. I discharged a singular round, so depending upon if you had it loaded with sixteen or fifteen rounds, it's fourteen or fifteen left." Michael handed her the gun back, then shook his head at the other man's offer.

"No, sir. That won't be necessary. I've got several at my apartment. Which conveniently enough, is on the third floor. I'm thinking we bust into a second floor window, make our way to my place, pick up the guns I need, ALL the ammo I have, and any weapons either of you like. Either way, the more guns, the better.

From there, I guess we need to find some means of transportation that can swim AND use dry ground. Like, an infantry fighting vehicle. Shit, I don't know. The fuck we going to find one of those? I mean, I have a friend in the Cavalry, but he's out in North Carolina. Actually, screw 'em. Mister Valharia, I'd be more than happy to borrow one of your firearms for the duration of our trek. If I may?"
As the man who taught her history lectured her on the remaining ammo in her gun she nodded along with his words and when he relinquished it back to her she stuffed it almost gracelessly into it's holster. She turned her gaze back to her elder brother carefully taking in the bumps and scraped he had acquired in his tumble. She was still wondering if they should get down and wade through the water or continue along the roof top, she started listening to the men right about the same time Michael said the more guns the better.

She turned her piercing blue eyes upon him and perked a brow. "What are you going on about?" she hadn't completely caught on to what was really going on, she figured that the world had just hiccuped a bit and life would go back to normal in a few days.
He looked at Michael with a quirked brow.

"What is your obsession with me and a dumpster? I came no where near one. Don't think even that initially flood coulda put one up by a second story window...which I went through! Damn."

He would then mutter a bit before looking around.

"At least the water has receded a bit."
