James looked out the window, after Ludovic. "Idiot" he muttered after him, then turned back to the severely damaged room, picking up the remaining pieces of the communicator device. "Wow, he really doesnt get it does he?" he laughed, "Even after I told him it didn't matter what condition the pieces were in." He picked up his gold monocle and placed it on top of one of the remaining pieces, holding the other to his eye, through it he saw the shape of a person in the dark, moving in the room before it left, returning the room to darkness.
"Hmm, great, I bet what I missed was important too." he said, picking up the remaining pieces. "Better keep this under wraps, Ludicrous face couldn't have known about this if someone here hadn't told him what was going on. For now, I am the only one who knows that we can see them. Heh, Ludicrous face. "
Quade pokes his head inside the area of the place. The door began to fall from his contact. He blinked as it fell and broke on the ground into pieces. "uhhh... Well you know that didn't go as planned." he lightly rolled his foot over the pieces and pushed them aside. "You alright James?" he walked into the room looking at everything. "What happened here o.o;" he seemed quite confused about the situation.
James sat down against the wall, the pieces of the device hidden on his person now away from sight. "Where were you five minutes ago, It doesn't take that long to hear an explosion and go, "hey maybe I should check it out."
James paused. "Ever meet a guy named Ludovic? he just came through here. Took the device with him so there goes that bright idea, and we are again at square one." he asked, closing his eyes and rubbing his forehead. "And is there a way for someone to get in here without being noticed? secret passages and such?"
Aerik had finally finished limping up the stairs to the top of the tower. He was genuinely exhausted from all fighting and his abdominal injury made it hurt to breathe. He opened a wooden door located at the top of the tower and gently turned it's knob. Inside, he saw the desolated remain of what had once been in the tower. In the midst of the destruction, he saw James and Quade along with many of James' supplies scattered about. Aerik noticed injuries on James' body and deduced that this was no training accident.

"What happened here?", Aerik asked in a concerned tone, whilst attempting to catch his breath from the spiral up.
Vincent was walking up behind Aerik and looked in at the destruction. Lavex looked at Vincent then flapped the small wings to fly over and look around the room from up high. Vincent looked to James, awaiting to here his answer to Aerik's question.
Quade blinked thinking for a moment... "Uhhh... No honestly I know nothing about secret entrances here in BranchWood Academy at all.. Though I haven't heard the name Ludovic before. I've also been here for twenty years so far. Seriously try to avoid asking questions... That wouldn't go very well trust me." he laughed and looked around. "So what did he say"
James held his hand out to the wreckage. not bothering to open his eyes. "Another attack. some guy called Ludovic. Took the device and ran. And he wouldn't have if some people had managed to get here earlier, Seriously, I was about even with him by myself, even one more person would have been enough to beat him with ease."

"He didn't say much, just that he was a former student and an ally of Gulliver
Quade blinked... "I have a hard time believing that James. I believe your hiding something." he looked at the situation then James. "Quite the hard time believing that." he sighed "I can see you struggled more then your letting on" he sighed and looked around walking over to the broken wall.
Aerik limped closer to the Quade and James. He directed his attention to Quade. "Let's not jump to conclusions, Quade. Though I do not blame you for having suspicions.", Aerik said. He turned his attention to James now. "James, are you telling us what you know? You should not withhold information if it would help us defend against this threat." Aerik winced once more at another pain in his side.
Vincent walked to the window and looked out, "Me and Lavex will take a quick look around outside, maybe they are still nearby or left a clue." he pulled his staff off his back and tapped the ground as Lavex flew out the window. Vincent climbed out and jumped onto the the full sized Lavex's back and acended into the air to get a good aerial viewpoint of the immediate area.
A man watched from the tree line as the man mounted the dragon and he grinned. He walked further into the tree line waiting for them to make a closer approach. His ideas were mounted all along his mind. He slowly jumped into the top of the trees and stood there. He leaned against the tree and waited for them to come closer as he readied himself on the branch.
Lavex jerkd his head towards the trees. "Right, this is our plan..." he smiled and Lavex let out a fierce roar signiling out that he spotted something.

"Hold on tight, boy!" Lavex's voice boomed as he dove down and just before getting close rotated his body allowing Vincent to drop off onto the tree tops. Vincent grabbed the branch with one hand while holding his staff in the other. The metal staff was rapidly heating from black, to red, to a glowing white.

Lavex would be flying upward then attempting to redecend a safe distence behind his Master.
James still did not bother looking up at his companions. "The only thing I managed to do before Ludovic got here was set up my defenses and get a look inside. Couldn't see much, no one was in the room on the other end. Could have been anywhere really. What I don't get is how he knew that we were going to trace the device. Unless Someone else from the arena is on their side, there is absolutely no way he could know that, or when to strike at me. I will say no more on the matter until I continue my investigation. I am going to find the mole in Branchwood. And when I do I will tear them apart. "
The trees shook immensely as a man bolted off the branch with extreme strength. The tree broke into three and fell downward onto the ground. He jumped up in the air next to Lavex and a leg came down against his neck. He kicked Lavex down out of the sky with an extremely strong kick launching him into the ground. Before the man landed back within the tree lines below. He looked around looking for more people in the area. He noticed Vincent and launched off the tree branch jumping towards him in an intense speed. Ready to strike for extreme damage.
Aerik heard Lavex's roar and then a large crash soon afterward. He rushed as fast as he could with his injuries to the opening in the wall. He saw a man falling to the tree line of the forest. He could not make out who it was from his position. He motioned for Quade and James to come over. "Someone his attacking Vincent and Lavex. We need to help.", he said. Aerik, however, would not be very much help, as his injuries would keep him from doing anything strenuous.
Quade looked directly at Aerik... "This is gonna suck so damn bad." he grabbed Aerik's hand and took his body and shape. "Thanks... I'm gonna use this to its best extent." Quade backed up and jumped out the side of the tower. Projecting his bones out of his arms in serious pain using them to glide over to where Lavex had fallen. "Hey Lavex you alright" Quade landed next to him and rolled forcing a retraction of the bones the best he could. Quade's appearance looked exactly like Aerik but, Quade also didn't realize he had taken his injuries too and dropped to a knee in pain. "Ah Fuck!" his side had ended up bleeding a lot
James looked out the window. "Damn him, I thought he was just going to scout ahead, not engage. I'm low on magic and I don't have any way to get across the field quickly enough." He turned and ran down the stairs towards the armory below. "Somebody call for backup! Do not go at him alone!"
He entered the armory and looked around for something to us, something to fight with.
Lavex growled in aggression, "Vincent, decend." His voice boomed loudly. He looked to what appeard Aerik and blinked, "I am fine. I was caught off guard." The dragon looked about, "No where to hide here for long."

Vincent heard Lavex and dropped down, bouncing off branches as he came down. He landed on the back of Lavex and clenched his staff, the white hot metal tightening in his grip. Vincent's anger started rising, forcing his flames to appear around is body, a faint glow emitting off the red flames. "Where are the others?" He took an aggressive stance.
"The others haven't descended yet. It's just us right now Vincent." he readied himself putting up his arms defensively looking at the tower noticing no one had followed. "We are in quite the predicament." he looked around and light bend his hand back and forth. "After all I don't know how these powers work or how to successfully use them." Quade tightly clenched his fists and looked around at the surroundings.
The sound of breaking limbs of trees began to sound off in the distance becoming closer. The trees began to shake violently as well as he began to close in. Ludovic broke through the clearing canopy of the trees with a large tree limb vigorously tossing it towards the individuals at sonic speeds. The limb was thrown so quick that its bark began to peel off as it was flying towards them. Ludovic landed in front of them and and cracked his neck and began to walk towards them as they figured out what to do about the tree limb flying at them.
