After some time she'd come to recognize his voice and she glanced over to him, wearing a grin as her eyes scanned over his armour, "That's a good look. Finally got your armour in, huh?" Her eyes returned to the hall as they were approaching the cafeteria.
Kenn nodded "got it a little later than expected but it works great" he said smiling walking along side her "so what about the missions?" He looked at her with a worried gaze "we still up for it?"
She raised a brow at the question with a grin evident on her lips, but her expression soon to become skeptical, "After having a taste of Feldar..? Tch. If we survived that then I'm sure as hell we're going on a mission."
Kenn made a large smile "wonderful having trained with Sasuki and elsewhere I'm sure missions will be easier than baking a cake. Huh?" He said holding his hand out in front of him and three orbs of light formed on top of his hand and spun into a disc
Iveth grinned at his newly formed magic, "Coming from the guy who wasn't much into magic before.. You've come a long way." She chuckled and made her way into the cafeteria, picking up a tray. "I haven't really been able to practice much. There's not many Nethers I can run into to train with."
Kenn nodded "I'd help but I'm no Nether, perhaps this could help" he said pulling out a book with a blue cover but a golden yellow outline "it has a few techniques for Nethers to use, it used to be my fathers but I took it with me without him knowing only because it was helpful for learning about Nethers" he offered the book to Iveth and let the disc dissipate around his hand
She stared at it a moment before taking it into her hand and flipping through the pages as her eyes scanned over them. Even if she'd done her share of research on Nethers it could still be of use. "Thanks," she smiled a bit as she shut it closed, "I'll have to look over it during my free time."
Kenn shrugged "sorry I can't be of more help" he looked to the line if food and he couldn't resist heading towards it and grabbing a plate then filling it full
"It's no problem," she shrugged and she began to fill her own plate as well before taking a seat at one of the tables. In the meantime, she opened up the book and flipped through the pages to find a good way to keep the Nether energy balanced out rather than using too much or too little. The practice, however, may have to come in later since she wanted to get a mission in.
Kenn started munching away at the food leaving nothing left on his plate "so what kind of mission do you think we'll get?" He asked as he leaned back in the chair looking down at his empty plate
"We actually have a few to choose from" she spoke though her eyes stayed on the pages, and she brought some food up to her mouth. "They're first year missions so they shouldn't be too hard."
Kenn nodded and leaned forward slightly "do you know the options?" He asked messing with his light orbs trying to shape them into objects and even attempted to make a large shield with it but it kept dissipating in front of him
"Crystal Forest, Serpent Caves, Scorched Ruins, and," she thought a moment, "the Abyssal Mines." Finishing her plate as well, she closed the book and looked back to Kenn, "Which one sounds the most tempting to you?"
Kenn put a hand to his chin "I'd have to say Scorched ruins" he said still messing with his light orbs " if you have any objection say so"
"I was leaning more towards that one anyway," a smile graced her lips and she brought her hand up to peel off the bandage that was on her jaw. It was slightly purple and a tad swollen, but better. For the time being, it just needed some air. "Are you feeling all right," her eyes flicked to the spot of his wound.
Kenn smirked "I feel fine, why?" The spot where the wound once was now had been left unmarked and no sign of a scar he laughed and leaned back in the chair
She gaped before throwing herself back in her chair with a wide grin, "That's so not fair!!" A laugh escaped her throat and she rolled her eyes jokingly, "Ah, at least you're fine now."
Kenn held up a finger that glowed brightly "magic sure is handy" he said smiling but then he went back to his normal angry look "any idea on how the mission will run?"
It was then that she realized she knew nothing of the missions, but the names. No information whatsoever. "No.. No idea," she shook her head, her face concentrated in thought. "I guess we'll have to figure that out on our own or unless we get some last minute information."
Kenn nodded "that doesn't surprise me much" he looked around "hey have you seen Sasuki anywhere I haven't seen him since we sparred earlier"
