In the Dome

Cas and Tommy hooked one arm around each side of Tinsley and they lunged off after Mal. Cas had her machete out in her free hand. Tommy had his free hand on his shot gun and Tinsley had her dagger in her hand since she couldn't have two pistols by her friends heads, plus she had to carry her journal. Surprisingly their running was in synchronization and they were decently fast. They watched Mal's every move assuring they didn't miss where he went.

Sadly Dietrich couldn't run very fast was no doubt left behind. His strength in being slime also has its weakness in that he's not very fast with feet. He tried to run, running like wimpy kid with his elbows tucked into his sides and hands wiggling around like an idiot.

He soon stopped running and went on walking. For him in his mind it maybe better for him to be alone since he can use disguses to full effect if other aliens came around.

Kira ignored the slime, he didn't much care for it anyway. He easily kept up with the others, but he had already been running most of the day and even being a former assassin, he had his limits. Since the dome dropped, he had hunted aliens to prevent himself from getting "rusty", but he himself was still only human.

As the group proceeds to Mals' apartment, his hand rushing as he grabs is keys and almost without looking unlocks the door, He look around quickly, then opens. "Look, before we enter you have to duck got it?" Mal opens the door revealing a mostly boarded up entrance "Go quickly, we don't have all day, or night." Mal smirks at the bad puns but looks at each of them.

Kira had been jogging for a bit, and had been just a bit behind them, visibly getting tired. He could tough through it but that didn't mean he wasn't pushing himself. He was just trying to catch the rest of the way up, a few yards behind them at this point.

Cas let go of Tinsley then ducked walking inside waiting for the others. Tinsley was next she cringed and she ducked down and walked in behind Cas. Tommy was next he ducked walking in taking a deep breath he was the most out of shape male on the face of, what's left, of the earth.

Kira makes it back (as after talking to Chris we decided I should go in before he posted), finally catching up with them, his legs sore. He wasn't panting, he wasn't quite out of breath, but it hurt to have to stand up at this point. He ducks down and without a word enters the room, looking about for any potential threats before his eyes land on Tinsley. He felt a sort of concern for her, he wasn't sure what to make of it. "You doing ok?" He asks, no sorry feelings for he who is out of breath.

Mal is last and ducks down in and with a slam of the door, the sound of something tumbling with a loud clank. Mal stands and flicks on the lights, smiling as we made it safely "Is everyone accounted for except Dietrich but I have a feeling he'll fine, Tommy you okay? Tinsley? Kira? You look sore, and finally is the lovely Cas alright?" Mal smiles and bites his lower lip trying not to giggle as his own light heardly. Mal looks at everyone .

Tinsley said "Ugh, after getting tased? Well, I could be better. I have a bruise on my stomach and its aching any sort of movement hinders it and makes it painfully sore." She shrugged proceeding "I'm fine though." she looked to Tommy who was having a asthma attack she reached in his pocket and handed him his inhaler in his flailing hands. Taking a good suck from it he slowly started to breath normally as he placed the inhaler back in his pocket. Tinsley smiled "He'll also be fine he just has severe asthma..."

Casendra looked to Mal she was sort of off in her own world she said "Why I'm doing quite fine and dandy considering this dreadful day and time." she smiled at him as her and Tommy put away their weapons. Tinsley did the same then she sat down flipping to a empty page in her journal attaching the pen from the back of the book she started drawing when suddenly she was startled by a loud growling sound. She and Tommy instantly looked to the door as Casendra gasped. Then suddenly a large brown knife hooked into the bottom of the door by luck as the door creaked it slowly opened. Tinsley's eyes widened as she pulled out a pistol of hers. Tommy held out his shotgun then Cas whipped out her machete quietly. The door opened completely and there were the legs of a Doelalite. Tinsley wrote "That's a Doelatlite and they are the second most dangerous species, and where there's one there are many they travel in packs. We kill one of them then a Bruditie comes and attacks us, they're the most dangerous aliens here no one has ever survived a encounter we need to go." she showed everyone in the group so they could read what she wrote. After they did she closed up the book quietly and picked up both pistols this time. Everyone pointed their weapons at the door.

Mal looks at Cas and walks over to her pointing at the note book, He takes it and starts writing. "We have three options here, in the floor i have a hatch that leads into the basement, we can try and find out way out there, number two, we have a window, we are on the first floor but we aren't in the best of shape. Or finally we have to stand and fight, and as I know all of us for sure that if we fight it we have to deal with the pack and if we get through that there's the master of the pack. If we try and run we need to grab some supplies from around the apartment then we can make a run, what ever happens I will make sure that this monster doesn't get past my door." Mal walks quietly to the door and pulls on a very thin wire, as it raises up from the floor, he turns around showing the book to everyone one.

Kira shakes his head and aims his guns at the door. No matter what they chose to do, the odds were against them. He decided he'd let them decide for themselves what to do, continue running in such bad shape, hide in a self dug basement, or fight in the same shape as mentioned before.

Tinsley grabs the book after everyone reads it and writes "Basement's the best option." and as everyone read it Tommy and Casendra nodded. Tinsley wrote "Mal open the basement its the best option." she erased all the words off the page as the Doelalite started to duck preparing to walk into the room slowly and steadily.

Mal runs quickly to the hatch, the rug moving slightly and moves the heavy door off pointing for them to move. Mal pulls the string taught for when the monster comes in hoping we get under ground before he trips it.

Tinsley limps down holding her journal close. Casendra hopped down behind her then Tommy. They all kept their weapons out and were very alert as they headed down the tunnel.

Meanwhile the doelalite tripped on the wire and growled climbing up to its feet as it started to charge its way into the room it was half way in!

Kira jumps down after them, holstering his pistols to climb down without issue.

Mal decides at the last moment grabbing Tommy and shoves him down I grab the carpet piece and pull it over as I drop the hatch quickly, Mal is breathing heavily he whispers "Guys the wire is about to pull my door shut nothing else can get in and nothing can get out, we are the only escape rout besides the window." Mal locks the hatch and turns on the light.

"OW!" Tommy growled saying "I was already down here I didn't need to get pushed..." the tunnel seemed deep as Tinsley sighed "Guys this is so long..." she shook her head slightly.

"It's the only way out right now, and unless if we want to risk getting stuck in between two of them then we've gotta start moving. We can rest here and there but we don't have much of a choice." He gives Mal a rather suspicious look as he goes on. "Our new friend here was very well prepared, we shouldn't let his intuition go to waste."

Tinsley said "Its up to you all... I'm aching, but I can suffer walking until we get to a safe place..." she shrugged holding her stomach. Casendra sighed saying "I'm really tired, but we need to be alert the mass amount of Aliens may mean that the attack on the Empire Building is going to happen soon..." Tommy nodded saying "Yeah, we may want to keep a-moving..."

Mal smiles and giggles softly "Thanks bud, weapons out everyone we have a long way to go, and sorry Tommy you'll thank me later." Mal's eyes light up and starts leads the way through the dimly lite tunnel "Cas mind being up here with me? I need to speak to you."
