At 3:45 AM residents of Terra (First Fall for Non-Natives) in the local Industrial sector of the City New Gaia experienced the shock of a lifetime, what at first was thought to be a low-tier earthquake in fact was a large, grand scale detonation within a two mile radius. Everything at the center of the explosion was next to annihilated, with only rubble and some buildings left to stand in shambles while others toppled outright.
Investigators looking into the scene have reported blood trails and minute traces of organic material, suggesting casualties, though none were known to be living in or around this part of the city. Eyewitnesses claim to have heard gunfire, but these cannot be verified.
The only glaring clue to those responsible for the attack comes from graffiti left on a crumbling wall, housing The Eye's signature and symbol. Many would argue that this isn't at all in line with the group's usual brand of corrupt, 'philanthropy' and renders this one possible lead as dubious.
