    Welcome to Eldrenae Academy.

"Word is beginning to spread of this private Academy with every passing week. This formal, though welcoming school presents the teachings of magic. Set in the heart within the Kingdom of Tanbarune, the reputable Academy welcomes both royals and commoners alike. The land famous for diversity throughout all manners of race. Between formal classes, set assignments, combat training, quests for those deemed ready and even formal balls, there is always something to look forward to within the walls.

While the Academy is quite a stunning sight to behold, navigating can sometimes become a grand chore. An enormous castle, one filled with tediously tall, curled staircases and spacious halls throughout. Some for classes of practice, others with marble desks and soft chairs for lengthy lectures. Many intricate gardens can be found as the stunning greenery hug the outer walls, though that is assuming these poor students do not find themselves lost. Finally, individual dorms offer extravagant chambers for all."

    For Students:

This group is great for character development with the opportunity to build up magical skill with active roleplay. With that said, many players often bring characters here simply because they desire reactions from our existing members. If that is the case, you won't find shocked reactions here. Tanbarune is a diverse and welcoming land. So rather than hop in aiming to surprise everyone with something like race, for example -- you'll find more success by finding another goal or adding in more purpose with questions like these:

What does your character wish to do with their newfound magic upon graduation? Are they an eager Student learning all they can, or is there a specific magical topic they are drawn to? Are they here to build friendships? Do they seek adventure during their time here?

Summarized, please join us if you seek interaction, not reaction. <3

    For Tutors:

It's about time I offer some direct advice. Often times, Tutors begin a class, lose inspiration, and simply become inactive/drop their class without a word. I encourage honest communication so we know if you'd like to continue at a later time or not. But when opening a class or two, please consider the following:

What would I find exciting if I were playing a Student in my own OC's classroom? How can I surprise my Students? How can I challenge them creatively? Will there be unique presentations, projects, or even tests? How about the occasional field-trip away from campus?

While the type of class and content is entirely for you to decide, I do suggest teaching with more hands-on action. If there is nothing but back and forth dialogue with nothing practical taking place, you are likely to lose your muse and burn out. A Tutor is a DM of sorts in their own right, so while you may be running scenes, it's no less important for you to have fun, as well as the Students! <3
