ko's nose wrinkles at the sight of all the gooeyness going on at the table, he almost snorts, but holds himself back, instead he stands with his tray in hand. "alright, well, you guys have fun with your little reunion." he says, as he steps out of the bench and starts for the tray-drop-off section of the room.

all the mushy feelings were getting on his nerves, irritation obvious in his brows. he makes no move to hide it though, he had been raised on the 'stronger overrules the weak' mindset, and the exess show of affection from so many people was too much for him. he had been alright with Juliet, but that was a different story; she had given him brownies, and they had given him nothing but a conversation and a feeling of discomfort.

Afol noticed the irritation from Ko as he left, a small frown coming back to his face before he went stoic to try and hide it. He felt bad for making him upset. Not sure what to do though, he just went silent as to not upset anyone else. He seemed perfectly fine now though.

Daniel has noticed the irritation and annoyance as the man left before noticing a frown of Afol’s face which was quickly hid. He looked down and sighed before standing up and picking up his tray with almost nothing eaten on it,” sorry... I guess I caused some discomfort and also I caused one of your friends to leave. I shouldn’t have made the assumption I was completely welcome here and I’m sorry for that. I’ll take my leave then” he said as he looked to Afol,” it was nice seeing you again... and it was nice meeting you all but I should go” Daniel felt guilty for doing this and sad he wasn’t wanted by one of them so he started to walk away to a trash can to throw his food away as he sighed.

After everything that happened her head was spinning. She lightly grabs Daniel's shoulder. "Wait... no he is probably uncomfortable with the whole... overprotective or gooey emotions. You dont have to be so upset. And you are always welcomed. A for your sleep, I already told you what could help!" She winks trying to cheer him up slightly.

"In all seriousness, we just met. We all did more or less. We should get to know one another! I mean I want to get to know you all better. Maybe make this feel a little less uneasy if I can." She says as she takes a deep breath. Her eyes look back at the other two. "Ko just isnt use to... this I dont think. Honestly, I think he prefers the bluntness and not the sugar coating things... you know? Dont take it to heart." She says as she still had her hand on Daniel's shoulder which could easily be removed if he moved. She was not being forceful.

Daniel looked back to her now,” you sure? I mean I don’t want to ruin what you all have going on and plus I can always find others... someday” he said the last part quieter before he smiled a little,” right! And I guess that’s true since all I really said was part of why I’m here and my name” he said and chuckled,” plus I’m really interested about all of you” he said and looked to Afol for a little before looking back to Juliet.

She smiles with a confident expression. "That's the spirit! I will talk to Ko later... I feel like he just needs a minute. But, i think there are some activities outside we could all do or even list sitting somewhere and mingling! I'm just pumped is all!" She says as she removes her hand for a moment. "Have you tried a body pillow? Nothing weird I'm being serious. Apparently, it helps make you feel almost safer and helps with sleep. I could give you some essential oils too that may help! Also, ask your doctor for warm milk or tea! Those are the non medical approaches that I have found help!" She smiles and turns to the gang. "What do you all feel like doing!" She says softly.

Afol looked up at her, “I’m good with anything. They have a lot of stuff here like art rooms and a mini gym that you can only use with supervision. It’s mainly for physical therapy.” He explained

Daniel kept all of those meat gods in mind,” thank you so much Juliet! I’ll make sure to ask my doctor for those things. And the body pillow may work... I uh don’t sleep often and some of that is due to the fact that I’m lonely and I’m scared of the dark so when I try to sleep and no one else is there then I get freaked out because I’m all alone with things that could be lurking in the dark and I don’t want to see them and no one wants to see them because it’s scary and who would ever want to sleep alone instead of sleeping next to someone else?-sorry talking to much” he said,” and I’m fine with whatever as well!” He spoke with a kind hearted smile

"Sleeping alone is definitely a terrible thing. I hear rumors around that one patient, for treatment purposes, is having another patient sleep with them. The doctor more or less paired them after seeing how well they helped one another out and hopes to bring progress to both. I'm not saying that's an option, however maybe it could help promote roommates and the likes." She says as she wished she could stay and help him through the night, but it's just not her place. "I will help any way I can Daniel. Do you know whom your doctor is yet?" She asks curiously.

"Painting or art could be fun, but maybe not if others are there? Only because people may want quiet and privacy. Honestly, anything is fine by me!" She says as she blows some of her hair out of her face.

Ella had been listening quietly to the conversation. Her gaze had followrd Ko out of the room.She wasn't there to psychoanalyze anyone and she wasn't going to do this, but he definitely was a strange person. It is alright to prefer loneliness over having company but they all had been very emotionally supportive, which was great and yet he had chosen to get away from them. Her gaze went back to the people sitting with her and she played with her pendant taking a deep breath quietly. Then she looked at Afol and Daniel. They were old friends and she hoped they wouldn't mind if she stayed around a little longer. She didn't want to go back to the loneliness of her room.

When Daniel then spoke about creatures creeping in the darkness her undivided attention went to him. He probably couldn't really imagine how right he actually was. Spirits, demons, any kind of supernatural creatures, she had seen them, fought them. That was what her work used to be about. With a careful motion she reached for one of her big golden cross shaped earrings unclasping the cross from it. Then she handed it to Daniel. "Here... it's okay if you're not a Christian or don't believe in God. Use this as a totem. When you feel like there are dangers in the darkness hold this close to your chest , close your eyes and have faith, believe it will protect you and it will. I promise. " She said with a small smile. Those earrings had saved her and other people's lives too many times to count , they actually worked, if the person really believed they would be protected.

before he leaves, he stops at the door and turns to juliet. "hey, Jules, i'll catch up with you later," he says, then pulls up his sleeve and looks at his non existant watch, "say... 2' o clock?" he suggests, casting her a charming smile from beneath his tired eyes.

She turns to face Ko, her hair flips behind her. A small blush trickles on her cheeks as she wasnt expecting his words. That and the nickname he gave her caught her off guard for a moment. She then smirks a little. "I look forward to seeing you, then. See you at 2 Ko." She winks as she lightly waves him goodbye.

ko leaves the hall.

Daniel chuckled,” well even if I could have a roommate I would never know who I would pick if I even could” he then smiled,” thank you for helping! And I don’t know yet actually” he hummed,” that does sound fun! I haven’t painted in such a long time!” He suddenly looked to Ella and gently held his hand out,” thank you so much... will it really help me?” He asked with confidence it might,”

"Well, I dont even know if it would be allowed. There are too many variables. But, I hope you're doctor is a good one! Although most are good here. A few have been... well missing or arent coming to work. It puts more work on Dr. Alyson, Nurse Night and Dr. Rèmy." She says as she rests a hand on her hip. "So would painting be okay with everyone else?" She asks softly

Ella nodded at Daniel when he asked if the totem she was offering would help. "Yes, all it needs is your confidence and belief, this simply canalizes your energy , which means you'd be saving yourself." She smiled. All this sounded sort of crazy even though it was actually true. At least Ella seemed to be completely sure it was true. Then she turned her head to look at Julies. "Oh well... yes, painting sounds fun." She said with a small smile.

Daniel nods,” I kind of thought that much and plus I don’t even know if I would be comfortable rooming with someone I don’t know or someone who could be dangerous” he said quieter,” well I hope I get one of those three then but also I hope they won’t have too much work on their hands since they might get stressed.” He smiled,” thank you guys for wanting to paint!” He said happily and looked to Ella,” well then I’ll believe it works so I can be saved” he spoke in a quicker voice,” it’s really cool looking and I’m appreciative that you gave this to me to help me and I’m in your debt for this so thank you Ella”

"That makes sense. Well, I hope you will find something that helps you get sleep! I will bring you some things next time I come." She smiles warmly as she then looks at everyone. "Well shall we get going to paint?" She asks softly with a stretch.

Afol listened curiously to the conversation, wondering if the cross really would help. The way she talked about it made it seem like it would. When Juliet asked if everyone was ready, he smiled, “Yeah, I’m ready!” Getting up from his seat, he cleared his place before coming back and waiting for the others before going with them.

"Anytime" Ella gave Daniel a warm smile and nodded. She was happy he was accepting her help. Many people she had met in her life simply would have rejected it, as they wouldn't believe her words or that such a thing could actually work, so she was pleased to see he not just accepted her help but also didn't judge her for 'believing' in the supernatural world. She hadn't finished her meal but she wasn't hungry anymore so she got up from the chair and picked up her plate and followed Afol to clear it. Then she returned to the table ready to go with them.

Being in this asylum hadn't been quite the way she had imagined it would be. She had met nice people and she wasn't alone... for now. Her gaze rested on Juliet then waiting for her to guide them where the painting activity would happen.
