Jessybel

Hello!

I'm here for amazing storytelling and wicked world building.
My genres of choice are Fantasy, Horror and a touch of Modern horror or modern fantasy. But generally as a player you'll find I am super flexible.

I like to play villains. But if you'd rather be with a champion of good too, I delight in creating and playing archetypes.

;)

Here's all the rest of the stuff you need to know:

What's your play style
I can get wordy, I value description and scene setting. Generally I will write 1-3 paragraphs, and appreciate a similar effort in a RP.

Sometimes things go long, and sometimes things are short if there is little say or the scene is all dialogue. But for me the emphasis is really on storytelling, however that plays out.

How about genre?
For the most part, all of my characters are based in fantasy.

However, several can be transcribed into more modern settings if they are modern with a supernatural/mythical twist. (Think vampires or demons running around in the real world). For some characters this works well, others not so much. So if you see a character that intrigues you: ask! I can often flex them to fit into the setting.

Genres I don't do well are sci-fi and anything too based in realism. (I already live in the real world).

Blood, gore? A little *wink wink* *nudge nudge*?
I believe that violence, sexual themes, gore and language can really set a scene, play into a character's personality or create a really amazing mood.

I am all for these things so long as it fits the game.

I also believe that less is more and that sometimes implied violence is scarier than full-out-description, and fade to blacks evoke more mystery, intrigue and tension. So CharacterxCharacter nookie can happen, but will never be played out. Sorry!

Can I fight you? Can I KILL you?
My combat styles vary on the player and situation; as a tabletop gamer I am happy to play with dice or if you would prefer to to pre-determine an ending or freeform it out that's cool too.

Freeform is favoured only if character flaws and weaknesses come into account, and you can write combat feasibly. The worst in two characters facing off where players refuse defeat or when characters are performing feats of skill that just don't make sense. If it plays out I am ok with death, maiming or whatever.. But please be polite and ask first.
;)
