Hello! I'm Lorraine!
Before I start, with everything, I would like to give a little bit of info on me, as I find it's a lot better to know who you're going to be RPing with than not! As I said above, my name is Lorraine, though you can always call me Raine for short).
One of the reasons that I got into RPing is because it's a great way to get the creativity flowing, and to have someone help out with other characters and with the plot can help when you get in that little rut. My hopes is that I can learn from others, with writing styles and techniques, and possibly get some tips and tricks on character creation and development.
Mostly, what I write is anything that has to do with Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Romance, but I'm open to trying other genres for a nice little challenge.
I'm in love with video games, with my favorite being Detroit: Become Human and the Witcher: Wild Hunt. I think that below that would be God of War and Skyrim, because those two are pretty amazing games. And I think this is really I often times get most of my inspiration, though I also get them from books, movies and TV shows.
I'm actually hoping to be become a Lawyer, specifically a Criminal Prosecutor, as I love helping people and making the world a better place. This definitely comes to play in my personality, as I can be very assertive, confident, and I'm great at finding evidence and reasons for things.
On one end, however, I can be a very shy person, who prefers the company of my two cats to others, and this probably has to do with my Social Anxiety (something I've been trying to battle, and have been slowly getting better at handling). This part of me can contradict with the side of me that is loud, goofy, often times swearing a little too much...(I'm trying to get better at it ahah), and, since I have ADHD, can sometimes run off on different ideas/topics when having regular conversations with people. You don't have to worry about this getting into my replies though, I usually read through it and make sure it doesn't get too all over the place.
I'm comfortable with writing fight scenes, sexual scenes (in BRIEF description, not gonna stay on that for too long), and honestly anything else. Characters that swear, or anything like that doesn't bother me. But if you're a little lost on if there is something that I like/dislike or an uncomfortable with, just ask, it takes me a lot to get annoyed with people, so no worries about that!
OKAY! So, got that done with. Here is a little schedule, this way it's easier for me to keep regular and constant (unless something comes up, of course) replies, and for others to know when I'm gonna be replying and when I'm going to be busy.
My time zone is MST btw!
Weekdays
Mornings - 6:30 am - 7:30/8 am
You don't have to worry about replying at this time, I just like getting replies sent in the morning, this way I don't need to worry about it for the rest of the day.
Evenings - 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
I'm probably going to be really tired, so I won't be on for a long time, and (with Canada is legal now), I end up getting a bit… inebriated… at around 8 pm on weekdays
Weekends
Mornings -10:30 am - 11:30/12
This time is pretty flexible on most days. If you're up at any of these times and on RPR, then I might be able to get two replies in (no pressure, it is the weekend so sleep in).
Evenings - 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm (roughly)
Probably going to be when I'm on the longest. Since it's the weekend I don't have to wake up really early. I'll probably be giving replies that are slightly longer/in more detail these nights.
