  History: For a long time, the military was all he knew on Earth, he had a fiancee, a happy dog, in general a good life. But when a meteor was announced, his entire world was flipped over. He tried to convince his fiancee and elder parents to come along, that because he was a high-rank in the military, he could get them on board the shuttle leaving. But they insisted on staying, his parents saying "We were born here, we'll die here." and his fiancee, who had always been religious said it was the will of the governing deity. So, reluctantly, he left them behind. they had been in space roughly a year when they landed and he was promoted from an ordinary military officer to overseer of the colony.
  Family: He was an only child, his parents, he assumes are now deceased as is his former fiancee.
