From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

This man is my muse. He is my best friend and my beloved heart, always there for me through the best and worst of times. His writing style is epic and poetic like the sagas, and his plots are thoroughly thought out so that no detail is overlooked. He isn't terribly active here on RPR, but that's everyone else's loss, since I get to have him every day.
