From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Erasmus-kun, this guy, I cannot even fathom my thoughts in order to explain the feelings I have for him. I haven't even known him for very long, and I've only done one roleplay, but just talking with him makes me understand what a wonderful person he is. I can't help but smile at the little things he does or says, and overall, he's made my RPR experience a little more enjoyable. I am very proud and honored to say that he is my friend. -

I haven't really roleplayed with any of his characters other than Jason. I just gotta say that this character was adorable and blunt (in a good way). He also gives certain depths to his characters. Kudos to you! - Starfish78
