Rose Duggan

An illegitimate child born to an unstable noble family, it wasn't a surprise that Rose was a social outcast. Neither did it come as a shock that she, being half-Fer in the northern reaches of the Empire, eventually was marked and exiled. And it just made sense when she turned up at the southern country, Cyldale's, capital working for one of those mercenary groups that tended to flock there. Add a kid without a father, and it all just fit the narrative well for a Kint post-civil war.

So, consider the surprise from those who still remembered her when the monarch of Cyldale, the same person who was considered next in line for the throne of the Empire, promoted the half-Fer to the Head of Imperial Security- a fancy term for the Blakemore's personal bodyguards. Rose was, for all the public knew, the scum of the earth- a criminal, drug addict, violent and dirty. It was disgraceful at best.


You see, Rose is... A very focused, reliable person. Give her a task, and she will ensure it happens, no matter what. She quickly found success working with mercenary groups that operated in the Greater Cyldale area, before the group she was a part of was hired by private tech and research group, ALTech. Their team was specifically hired to accompany some researchers to various ruins that were of note to the company, and it just so happened that Eliza Blakemore and some high ranking Argency members came along on one of these expeditions. When part of the ruin's floor collapsed and took the monarch down to an unknown level, Rose jumped down after her and quickly found herself dragged into a conspiracy far greater than she could have imagined.

Now, she's a high ranking member of the Cyldalian Argency Branch, and will do anything it takes to perform whatever is asked of her. Certainly doesn't hurt to be engaged to a Blakemore either.
