    A nice off shoulder top, a corset, some pants, leather boots, golden earrings and necklaces, a coin pouch, a rapier, and a flintlock. This is what Liz always wears on her person. Elizabeth wears her long, wavy brown hair loose, and the front of it is cut in side swept bangs. Her eyes, always filled with the look of adventure, are a beautiful hazel.

  • Skills

    • Navigation: Elizabeth knows how to properly use a compass but is hardly ever seen using one. The crew that raised her in the Black Dragon taught her how to use the constellations and stars, notably the North Star Polaris, to navigate. With her knowledge of the night sky, she is very well oriented.
    • Cartography: The crew on the Black Dragon taught her how to draw accurate maps. Utilizing coordinations and other maps for reference, she can draw up stunning maps. The best part is, she can draw them up perfectly the first time.
    • Coordination: Elizabeth is very fast and agile, able to perform many acrobatic maneuvers and able to jump a remarkably long distance, performing dazzling parkour attributes.
    • Strength: Elizabeth makes sure she exercises for two hours before the sun rises every day on every voyage she goes to to maintain her upper body, core, and lower body. She’s been doing this since she was ten and she lived in the Black Dragon. Because of this, she’s remarkably strong in every part of her body, able to climb a single rope with ease, for example.
    • Combat: Elizabeth is proficient in hand-to-hand combat, able to fend for herself without weapons. But she’s also a master fencer and a crack shot with a flintlock. She learned some martial arts on her time on the Black Dragon. She always had to watch her back with the rest of the crew.
    • Master Tactician: The captain of the Black Dragon was also Elizabeth’s teacher, and he taught her strategy, most importantly. With her strong leadership, planning skills, and adaptability, her crew on the Amphitrite knows they are safe under her leadership.
    • Thievery: Elizabeth can do things as small as pickpocketing and as big as looting. She was raised by cutthroat pirates, after all. She is so good at pickpocketing that normal people don’t notice she even touched them.
    • Stealth: Elizabeth learned how to be stealthy painfully quickly on the Black Dragon. She can sneak into the most secure places and even disappear in broad daylight. She used her skills against the very people who taught her how to be stealthy when she took a large amount of loot from the Black Dragon five years ago.
    • Swimming: On the Black Dragon, Elizabeth’s crew-mates taught her how to swim, in case she ended up in the sea somehow. Now Elizabeth can swim with her hands bound.
    • Awareness: On the Black Dragon, everyone had to watch their backs in case of a mutiny. The crew that raised her made sure she knew that. They would ambush her to pickpocket her or attack her. Because of this, her hearing is extremely sharp and she can sense someone sneaking up behind her even if they are silent, like a shark. She also has remarkably keen eyesight, able to notice small but important details.
    • Singing: To pass the time on the Black Dragon and on the Amphitrite, Elizabeth or another crew member would suddenly sing the first line of a sea shanty or naval song and then the rest of the crew would promptly sing along. Elizabeth’s singing voice is surprisingly sublime and she has a gold sense of rhythm. She can even harmonize.

  • Kainda

    Six years ago, before Elizabeth left the Black Dragon, she participated in the looting of a ship in the Mediterranean. While searching through the ship for anything valuable, she found a Lanner falcon hatchling with a broken wing in a cage. The ship was another pirate ship and they were smuggling a falcon hatchling to England.

    Elizabeth took the hatchling and nursed it back to health. One of her crew-mates was a former falconer and identified the gender of the bird once its juvenile plumage started showing a few weeks later. It was a girl.

    Elizabeth named the bird “Kainda,” which is a name of African origin that means “Hunter’s daughter.” She named her this because Kainda was in a ship off of the coast of Africa.

    Elizabeth trained Kainda to be her most loyal companion. Falcons are known to be incredibly fast, so sometimes Elizabeth would use Kainda to attack another ship’s crew with her sharp talons. Elizabeth got a leather glove for when Kainda needs to roost on her arm.

    Now, in between voyages, Elizabeth lets Kainda fly free. When she’s about to set sail, Elizabeth puts her thumb and index finger in her mouth, releasing a loud and shrill whistle. With Kainda’s keen hearing, she flies straight toward her mistress.

    Kainda is not Elizabeth’s pet. She is her friend. When Kainda was a hatchling, Elizabeth would chop up bat meat into little tiny pieces and mash them up to a semi-liquid to mimic regurgitated food to feed the little hatchling. This created a mother-daughter bond. Because of this, Kainda is Elizabeth’s most loyal companion.
