So, there's two humanoid forms Runa takes depending on where in her timeline we're set -- Base (Pre-Ascension) & Post-Ascension.

Base Runa has that almost void-like violet hair, long enough to sit on if left down. It's so fine, like wispy silk, but still reasonably straight. Her eyes have pupils like deer, wide and horizontal, but sharp on the ends like a dragon or cat. Her irises in this form are more like honey. Her tail is only about 3.5 feet long and sports the same fine, silky hair as her crown, but it is normally kept tied in a coil to fit unseen beneath her armor. Not the most comfortable, but necessary to hide her nature. Just the same, she wears a straw hat with a fine slit in the front to hide her visage, mostly so her eyes. Aside from these features, as well as a patch of emporer's gold scales on her chest, she appears otherwise quite human, especially when wearing armor.

Ascended Runa has multiple marked features that make this form vastly different from her old appearance. Firstly, her hair has become fringed with a creamy golden-blonde towards the middle and ends, keeping the traces of violet nearer to the roots. Crowning those roots are two tall spires of horns, gleaming like solid gold. Her eyes are golden now as well, no longer like simple honey. Her ears have moved and changed entirely, seeming more like that of a deer. While the hair on her tail follows the same patterns as her crown, it has grown to be well over 6 feet if you count the wispy plume of hair at the end. Fangs have grown into her mouth, and while smaller versions of them were there prior, now they have grown enough to show very clearly when she speaks.

Then there's her non-humanoid form that only takes place Post-Ascension. Yes, Runa can shapeshift at this point, more specifically into her true beastly form. She is a kirin through and through, stands taller and larger than the weightiest of horses, yet so graceful and lithe in stature. Even so, she's still quite young and small for her species -- you should see her father; he's much bigger. Besides that, her nickname 'Violet Kirin' is very literal here. She bears violet scales across most of her body, cream ones underneath, tail lined with the occasional gold scale like a perfectly polished, protruding coin. Her legs are scaled in such gold, lean and slender but deceptively powerful. They are odd, those legs -- the front are set like a predator, canine-like with hooked claws, practically talons, yet the back are cloven like a deer, exquisitely as sharp as the front pair. With such a structure, she lays down with her back straight like a hound and head high like a dragon. Her glare is about as terrifying as the latter.

Being a kirin, Runa's steps barely disturb the ground upon which she walks, leaving no tracks nor traces. She can move at breakneck speeds in a dash few beasts could ever hope to match. Runa is also blessed with a sense only her kind have: the ability to sense the hearts of others. The complex range between good and evil in one's heart is as distinguishable to her as a high or low pitch in the sharpest of ears. The only drawback is her inability to turn this 6th sense off, making dense crowds and multiple strong hearts nearby simply unbearable.

Pre-Ascension: Runa is a trained mercenary, an accomplished killer. With her divine strength, she has reached such lethal skill with her twin wakizashi that no one short of a true master or highly skilled mage could stand a chance against her in combat. Fire is her element, and while she cannot create it, Runa can control it at will, turning it golden while under her influence. Fire cannot harm her in any way.

Post-Ascension: Flame is at her very will, her breath, her thought, her whim. She can create and manipulate it in any way she sees fit. Her tail is both a thing of unrivaled grace and unforeseen power; a weapon capable of great dexterity and devastating force. Her horns can gore you, her teeth could shred your flesh, sure, but you'd have to put her in quite the pickle to resort to that. Unless, of course, she'd shapeshifted, where she'd stomp, slash, whip, gore, bite, shred and burn you to naught but ash.

Exalted (Special Situation, much further into her timeline): Where once she only controlled a source of light, now she wields the very essence of darkness as well. She can use it both as a physical force weapon of any shape her mind can conjure, but also as a field to blind, shield to deflect, or container to crush. It fuses with the light of her flame and resembles that of an eclipse or black hole.
