Something occurred to me while I was driving down the road lost in thought. I have a lot of storybook characters which have been modified a little due to personal universal changes in order to fit rp. Now I'd love to be able to post a separate page where I can document the storybook features of the character which either may not apply to the character in an rp universe, or perhaps are different because of rp history (things they have gone through with other characters etc)

Additionally I know at least one person who uses their main book character for rp while writing chapters to be released elsewhere online. Linking that to their rpr profile ends with spoilers if this person wishes to post accurate up to date information for newer readers.

Justification aside now, I think it could be helpful now that we would have private characters to have private pages on public/friend only/etc characters for these reasons. It could also help in the extended creation process where another page which needs to be added after character A goes through X Y Z in rp and has now developed A B C problem(s)/abilities/family or anything else one might decide to write a new page for.

I'd appreciate this. While I do have a character that I achieved something close enough to this with, it'd be nice to be able to do it without:

• Worrying that someone will stumble across the "private" page in a search or something.
• Having to have an Epic Membership to use its custom template feature.
• Having to know enough CSS to hide a just one navigation link.

I use it for notes that I want to keep about the character, but do not want others to know - such as secrets the character keeps, or things I haven't decided to include or not yet.

I would actually love a feature like this where we could share that private page with specific users, while other users cannot see it. However, I believe this might end up being a bit more complicated to deal with than anything else. I would still appreciate this kind of a feature for personal writer notes, but I wouldn't want this to be something that users could try and abuse either.

I would 100% use this feature for that purpose too, I hadn't actually thought about this use until you mentioned it

Doesnt DA make this work somehow using the sta.sh ? Could it be as easy as sending the link to people who you wanted to share said page with but no one else could access it without this link?
I spent some time thinking about ways this could be abused and came up with nothing personally. I certainly agree with you I just dont currently see a way for that to happen? Open to correction on that though

Would a character notes feature where you could keep personal notes about your own characters serve the same purpose as this? Or must it be a private page on the profile?

Myself I feel like that's one in the same? I mean I'm guessing that means no widgets, gallery, or other spicy features to help beautify the page for viewing but if the intention is focused on privately keeping information I feel like private notes could work. (Though if it were a page I'd almost certainly beautify it for only my own viewing pleasure anyway haha)

If there were to be a character notes section would there be a character/word limit on it do you know?

I think I'd be happy so long as it's easy for me to access and is tied to each individual character (one big, shared notes page would quickly become a mess for many folks).

Yeah I percieved this as separate character note pages also....one shared one would be a big mess for me already I think
