Dawn said I had to join. I like the idea and I think I'll use this to edit and focus and get a character story down. 50k might be a reach, but I'll get down on the keyboard and see what happens.

I've got a resource suggestion, but I think most people in RPR already know it, it's a site that's literally called WordCounter. On top of it saying what it does on the tin, it also displays how often of a certain word or trio of words there is in a piece. It provides a rough estimate on how long it'd take to read the text, the reading level and what not. I use it a lot whenever I'm feeling fancy about writing.

I see you've created a general tab for resources. Do you think maybe we could do a forum as well, for sharing personal ones, too? Or how do you intend to run that. I have a few resources sitting around that I'd love to share if they might help anyone. Or I can post them and if you think they're helpful to the cause, to post them up!

I'll be working on my long-planned but regularly interrupted Middle Earth 4th Age fanfic I started to write on Tolkien Forums, and maybe I'll work on consolidating the fanfic RP my and another's character are writing together here. I probably have 50k words for each in this jumbled mess of a brain.

Hi hello everyone. I've decided to join here. I hope I could learn more tips in writing as I sometimes struggled on my vocabulary. And I love reading another people's story! Let me see if I can reach the 50k wordings, quite the challenge for myself.

Quick question... Do you want us to post using our account pennames and not with characters? I used a character because my story will be focused on them, but thought after the fact maybe I should post under my name instead. Thoughts? Preferences?
