☝🏻I will post, maybe snippets or some teasers, maybe all. But then it must be notified with - strong language - psychic torments - sexual scenes described (if ever)
I intend to write everything in a Word document so I can keep track of word count and such. But I plan on dividing the story up into sections or chapters and I will probably post those sections as I finish them for others to read, if they are interested.

I realize as I'm plotting how little I know about them. I tried to find a podcast and ended up finding something about pirates and while it will be interesting I'm sure... It's not quite what I need.

What kind of ships?
Some captaincies have informations about gross weight of different ships.
If it are Viking ships, there are projects going on to build complete viking ships, the way they were built nach then.

The Viking museum in Roskilde has 5 exact replica of those boats that conquered America long before C.Colomb.
Else there are quite a few ‘museum’ ships, some of them still sail, there you can gather all sorts of information on all kind of ships, also on video if wanted.
And of course nautical terminology (a lot is derived from Dutch).
The biggest seafarers are European.
