This Epic Week introduced the concept of the "Research Library," a sub-plot told through the medium of newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and letters between characters. The lore library added a wealth of additional richness to the plot and world, and was also utilized as clues to solve all puzzle symbols this year.
It also featured a pixel-art farming simulator MMO, where players could farm and cook food to help aid the refugees who were fleeing the earthquakes and undead invasion caused by the pending eruption of Mount Ovation.
