Introductions are in order!
I've actually never used a forum to roleplay before, but I'm hoping to branch out in search for new roleplay buddies! Please bare with me, I'm not used to forums in general. Most of my time has been spent on DeviantArt or Discord, so I don't know my way around these parts. I'd super appreciate a nudge!
I like to draw a little bit, but it's mostly the world building and character creation that I do it for. If you just want someone to bounce ideas off of for your own worlds, I'd be happy to be that buddy too~

Right, right, sorry. Let me start over. I'm Kuejena! I'm 21 years old as of July 2017, and I'm very talkative and I like meeting new people! I'm a little nervous at first, but only for a short while. I also have no idea what I'm doing as far as how to work this site so we'll see how this goes. X'D

What's your experience with roleplaying?
That's a good question actually. I myself have been roleplaying on and off throughout my highschool life, but it was mostly in script and I was really unsure of myself. However, I've been roleplaying consistently for the past three years and I'd like to think I've gotten pretty decent at writing. >:y
As far as genre, a good majority of it has been simple interaction between characters, character building, romance, a bit of adventure though I'd like more, and uh... a good bit of mature BUT ONLY if my roleplay partner wanted it to go that way so I wouldn't push it on anyone if that's a concern. Shipping and romancing ocs is generally fun, but again I'm not going to force a pairing on you. Trust me, it takes a blatant admittance of "I ship these two" before I start to take steps to get them together. :'y
I don't have much experience with horror, mystery, murder (ok, maybe a little bit), and action, but I would love to try it out for anyone willing to put in the patience! I have tried my hand at a few of these things by myself (especially murder c:< ), but that's a good bit different from doing it with someone else, isn't it?
What are your roleplay preferences?
I'm not insanely picky about my roleplays, but there are a few things I do and don't like. Also, I've only ever done OC roleplays, so I wouldn't have a clue as to how to do fandom rps.
I myself tend to write out at least a sizeable paragraph in response and prefer paragraph form (it's been a very long time since I've done script, and don't really favor it myself). Sometimes I'll write a full page. YOU DON'T HAVE TO. Your replies don't have to be super long either. I do prefer a paragraph or two (or more), but as long as you give me enough to be interesting and easy to reply to, I'm completely okay. No one wants to drag the narrative along by themselves.
I also VERY MUCH FAVOR planning out roleplays as we go along. Whether it's a bunch of "what ifs" or headcanons, I like a direction in the plot to keep it going smoothly and keep it interesting. Especially if I want to do something a little daring, I'm going to want your approval before I do anything drastic, and vice versa. Planning ahead is fun and comfortable for both parties! I love a good story, and communication is a big part of it for me.
I'm generally pretty good at replying in a timely manner, so there shouldn't be too much random silence from me. I do have a job and I'm currently moving, so do please bare with me if I take a hot minute to reply.

If for some reason you would rather roleplay elsewhere, I can roleplay via deviantart notes or discord. I could try to do skype again if it's necessary. Just send me a message and I'll give you my handle and stuff. However, my favorite place of all to roleplay is google docs. Even if we aren't, I'll probably be keeping a copy on docs for myself to keep track of :'y
