LadySLupe13

Eurgh... Too much to say.

I suppose I'll start by saying I've been writing for a very long time (started fanfiction in middle school, and actually have progressed to original fiction these days) and have written in a number of fandoms (Fanfiction.net: Katrina Marie Lupin) and follow Sherlock, Warehouse 13, Leverage, Burn Notice, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Phineas & Ferb, and of course Harry Potter. I have an acceptable knowledge of the Twilight universe, even if it is, in my opinion, the work of an amateur (she had such promise! The Host was quite wonderful - I consider Twilight a necessary evil), and I much prefer Moonlight. Dead Like Me, Pirates of the Caribbean - anything that's clever and angsty and a bit tragic. I've recently seen the Melbourne production of Love Never Dies, and I'm a bit obsessed with it. I bounce around in mediums (I knit, crochet, stitch, and most recently have taken up Haberdashery - all of which are on display and for sale on my Etsy: LadySLupe13 - and I participate in NaNoWriMo, FAWM, and ScriptFrenzy every year; that's textile craft, I also draw (mostly pencilwork and digital editing after Sharpies/copic colouring) and write in prose, poetry, songwriting, script and comic - I have a webcomic at KMLsSticks.theComicSeries.com - hosted on Comic Fury - and have a number of comic book page-style stories that are still in the works) and genres (fanfiction in a number of fandoms, real-life angst (My Life, Lexi, Falling Apart), high fantasy (Harry Potter, Marlowe, the Gifts), sci fi (Kraven, Dark Side, DJa-Nei) and low fantasy (Droobleberries, Mordecai). I've a habit of making up new characters at random, so... Ask me, I might have just the fellow for you.

I only ask that if you intend to write with me that you have at least a basic grasp of the English language, proper grammar, vocabulary, and some writing style. I've been writing a long time, and need someone to keep up with me. Although mostly for fun, I take my writing rather seriously and intend to use this to publish, so I also consider RP-ing a way of working on characterisation and character development, so the help is appreciated. Iron sharpeneth iron, and what. I'm also terribly fast and loose religiously, both in my real life and in my fiction, so if you get upset by controversial topics, don't bother reading my stuff - something will upset you or make you squick. Some of my darker characters can be rather violent and psychopathic; I like to interpret humanity's cruelties into acts of physical violence, and a few of my characters have some pretty disturbing back story - sexual abuse and physical torture among them. Snape and Mordecai are both Dark Magic users, and all of the ills that come with it. I like to play with gender roles and societal pressures, and if you're a gung ho feminist, you won't like me - I am the delightful dichotomy that some of my characters absolutely love a girl who likes to put up a fight (seriously, Stork has a fetish for fighters and tough bitches) but there's also some serious misogyny to be found. I haven't entirely figured out who the misogynist is, but shades of it creep up here and there. I don't play nice, and what my characters do is entirely up to them - I just spin it and put it in the best light possible. I'm a master of spin! I have an anti-hero right now who is a creepy psychopath, but one that focuses on ridding the world of scourge like slave traders and filthy pirates and con men, so it's a matter of being the lesser of two evils, and I like that in a character.

If this hasn't scared you off, but rather intrigued you, I WANT TO MEET YOU. PM me, and let's cook up some mischeif!

Inquiring minds want to know why we too should befriend LadySLupe13!

Did you remember to explain why your friend is awesome?
