The Legend of Lilith
In the old Apocrypha writings, excerpts/stories omitted from the main Bible:Lilith was Adam’s first wife but the couple fought all the time. They didn’t see eye-to-eye on matters of sex because Adam always wanted to be on top while Lilith also wanted a turn in the dominant sexual position. When they could not agree, Lilith decided to leave Adam. She uttered God’s name and flew into the air, leaving Adam alone in the Garden of Eden. God sent three angels after her and commanded them to bring her back to her husband by force if she would not come willingly. But when the angels found her by the Red Sea they were unable to convince her to return and could not force her to obey them.
How she's written
Lilith will be played contemporary, a Fallen human soul, created from earth by God. Unlike other Angels and Archs, that are of Spirit origin, Lilith, Adam, and Eve are created from Heaven's (Garden of Eden) earth. They are heavenly beings made of flesh and bone. The banishment is 'Falling from Grace', and that concept applies to her as it does to Angels. She left Eden to live out her remaining years on earth. But as she did so, and became Immortal, worshipped by many cultures in different ways. In Christianity and Judaism, she was demonized and called a vampire and demon. As the first woman discriminated against and made to feel lower than her husband, she represents a symbol of freedom and woman's lib.My character seeks redemption quietly and internally that she does not easily profess. Lilith is in control over the earth and the demonic spirits that roam, and she can speak to the beasts. She is not Human anymore, she is Fallen from Heaven; a demon and the first Succubus, who has powers of the earth. When she left Adam, she found comfort in another Archangel, Lucifer. They 'beget' the supernaturals which have populated the earth; the other demons and beasts that have evolved since the beginning of time were 'beget' as well, by her relationships with other Archangels and Angels. The hybridization of the species occurred along the way. Her bloodline flows through her demon children and those they have mated with. Lilith's influence can be felt and heard. She is everywhere.
