Hi! I'm MageFaery, or just Fae.
I'm not exactly new to roleplay, but it has been some years since I really interacted with a community or opened myself up like this...so I am sort of getting back into the swing of things.

Writing is actually my lesser practiced skill. I am actually an artist first! I tend to use my skills as an artist to design characters and practice story telling via visuals. I am currently going to university for animation and occasionally take commissions. You can check out my work on my twitter.
Outside of art and writing, I like to play various games. My favorite video games are the Dragon Age/Mass Effect games, with a preference for DA. I am currently playing in one D&D game and two Monster of the Week games, though I am working on my anxiety to eventually run a game. While at work, I like to listen to The Adventure Zone and The Magnus Archives podcasts. When I can, I devour horror movies, good or bad.

Writing and Roleplay
I love worldbuilding and character creation, and have been brewing stories and worlds in my brain for well over a decade. Seriously, I have a huge fantasy world building project that I've worked on for like eight years and attempted Nanowrimo with stories around it.
I like high/dark fantasy, urban/modern fantasy, supernatural, and even some sci-fi settings. However, I am always down to try something new. I really like having a strong foundation to have fulfilling rp, so I would love to talk and collaborate to set up rp rather than totally jumping in.
When it comes to roleplay, I've been getting slowly back into it after several years of real bad anxiety keeping be from enjoying it. So far, it's been about a year since I've jumped back in. I started to want to overcome some of this anxiety when I started playing dnd with friends. Before that, I had been avoiding rp for about five years. Yikes.
Between working part time, going to school full time, art commissions, and playing in three ttrpg games, forgive me if replies take time...life be that way. That being said, I'm super laid back. Don't ever sweat it if you are slow, aren't feeling a roleplay, or can only manage a few sentences. I get you, just communicate with me and please don't ghost....it sets off the anxiety REAL BAD.
I am NOT comfortable friending minors or role playing with them. You must 18+ to interact with me beyond a “hi”. Roleplays MUST be lgbt+ friendly, though doesn't necessarily have to be focused on wholesome lgbt+ stuff. Otherwise I'm down for almost anything: horror, gore, romance, adult themes are a-ok with prior checks and communication.
