Orlo

Hello there.

As of writing this , 4/1/2023, I am new to this site, but not to roleplay. Collaborative writing has been and on and off affair for me for many years. Having a little more time in my schedule, recently, has allowed me to return. Look forward to having fun here.

I can be both a world builder, or a fly by the seat of my character's pants type of player, it depends on the flow of the story, the subject, the mood, what I had for lunch.. Quality over quantity. I already have a job, this is my escape, so I try to keep it easy and fun.

Collaboration
A partner to build a story with. That's what I am looking for and strive to be, should you want me to party with you. Mind you though, I only play with 21+. My plot ideas and characters will eventually be posted here, if not already. They are the beginnings or half the story, normally presented in my character's point of view, if I have already formed one. I expect my partner to bring the rest of the tale from their point of view and mix the plot until we get what we want. One person doing all the work is not a collaboration, nor is it a true game.
Posting
I normally post about once or twice a week. Maybe more, but this is all I can officially promise. Setting realistic expectations is a priority in such a partnership. On average I post three or four paragraphs, with my opening post often bordering on a novella status. At the very very least, one paragraph, but only if the plot is moving fast. It is safe to say, the longer it takes for me to reply, the longer my post would likely be.
Genre
I will play any genre except modern-realistic-way too plain- slice of life. I am here to avoid anything too realistic. The exception to my exception, is if it has some extreme element... murder mystery, spy thriller, drama, cheating, gangs, adventure etc. Favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and supernatural, but I do I love them all. Original worlds and characters are my staple go to, movies, tv, anime etc, characters don't inspire me much. I could maybe use the setting, but even that is uncomfortable, stifling, intimidating even. Sure, I'm over thinking it, but I don't care for it.
Gender
I play as any gender, everything between around, under and above. I welcome my partner to come at me with any gender, unless a plot I offer does not allow that flexibility. I have a soft spot for gender fluidity, androgyny, or no sexual anatomy at all. Fluidity. Variety. Yes. Know that I am not dissuaded by what gender channel your art flows through. I'm here for fiction, not to validate or deny your DNA
