What to say... What to say...
I am a curious bibliophile with a constant hunger for new fictions to devour. I am a hopeless writer with even worse handwriting who covets delicate writing implements. Speaking of delicate things, I cannot begin to express my adoration for clockworks and intricate watches. I am fond of riddles though I can never solve them. I am prone to ignorance, arrogance and using the letter 'G'. I would rather be time travelling with owls. There is a Boggart in my house that I cannot seem to get rid of. There is also an orange cat; but these two things do not have much to do with one another.
As a roleplayer, I'm fairly diverse in terms of the genres I like to roleplay. My favourites are fantasy, historical (most any period, including time-travel), cyber/steampunk, dystopic, supernatural and science fiction (more Blade Runner, less Star Trek in that sense). My favourite themes to include in a roleplay are action, adventure, mystery, mature romance, and dark fantasy such as the kind featured in Lovecraftian horror. Though I'm not completely averse to modern, non-fiction roleplays, I would rather have a little more "spice" added to the plot.
I can write, on average, a couple meaty, healthy, descriptive paragraphs in past-tense, third-person and I prefer my partner to do the same. In terms of spelling and grammar, I certainly don't expect perfection, but if you're writing with me, I would like you to be more than fluent with minimal errors in the majority of your posts. To clarify what I mean by descriptive, I insinuate that you are able to successfully, and hopefully artistically, communicate your character's actions, internal dialogue and other happenings within the scene. I'm a big fan of plot planning and active plot twists, so communicating with my partner out of character is often desired so that we may find more funand sadistic ways to make life hard for our little darlings.
I will be sure to add to this little profile when I remember more information about myself; I often forget so I hope you understand.
