GENERAL RP PREFERENCES
I have more experience with 1x1 storylines, but I'm totally into group stories as well!
I'm used to writing an average of 3-5 paragraphs (third person) per post. I think the shortest I'd be able to write is 1-2 paragraphs, but I just really love immersion in the story and details like character thoughts, emotions, mentality, and of course, external things such as where they are and what's going on around them.
While most of my characters are humanoid, I have no problem interacting with other character types, such as animals, furries, supernatural/fantasy races, etc. In fact, I'm 100% willing and able to turn any of my characters into furries/animals to fit in with a story!
I'm honestly down for pretty much any genre except for smut/erotica, and would prefer to stay away from sexual scenes in general. Nothing against it, it just doesn't hold my interest. But I do love to ship, so if any story leads to a sex scene, I'd rather allude to it, or build it up a little and then flash forward in time, ooor at least have it over within 3-4 replies. If it lasts longer than that, not gonna lie, I lose interest and could possibly put off replying. @_@;; I'm just not here for that kind of thing, and I don't get anything out of it but anxiety, lmao.
AGAIN-- I do love to ship! In fact, despite my last point, one of my favorite genres to write is romance! I love the angst and fluff and emotional rollercoaster of a fictional relationship! x) Cute moments, tender moments, heartbreaking moments... all of it! But our characters have to have that kind of chemistry with each other, you know? I just can't really do forced ships.
Typically triggering themes are okay with me, and I actually really love writing extreme graphic violence and gore! It's another favorite of mine~ xD but I do understand that most people would prefer to stay away from that, so by no means is it necessary... BUT if you want some gore, it's definitely on the table! Other themes like drugs, murder, assault, etc, I am fine with, if you want to include them. All I ask is that I'd generally like to stay away from any kind of sexual assault directly between our characters. I believe we can have a very fulfilling (and very dark, if you wish) story without one character sexually assaulting the other -- however, simply a character's history or bio including assault/rape, or merely mentioning it within a story, doesn't bother me as much.
