From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

I don't see this here lady around as much as I used to, but when I do it is usually a treat! I love how blunt she is and that she doesn't sugar coat any more than what is sometimes necessary. She's a great to talk to and the times we've rp'd have been pretty ace!

I've know Atty for years, and recently caught back up with her. She's a great person who has no qualms with speaking her mind. When it comes to RPing she's intelligent and creative, what a combo!
