Viscer'ys

Welcome to Viscer'ys' RPR Profile! This is where you can find more information about my new demon summoner and occult specialist, Viscer'ys. This is a brand spankin' new project for an occult-heavy rp. Demons and summoning, great old ones, ancient gods, Loa, the Furcadian primes, expect all this and possibly more.

All of the information contained herein is, of course, OOC knowledge! I welcome OOC chat about what your character can know in advance, especially if we decide they already know each other.

Viscer'ys is a scholar, a practitioner of the occult, an expert in cryptozoology, and an aspiring demon summoner. He doesn't have 'magic,' per se. Not in the same sense as Wizards, Witches, and Warlocks. He can use talismans and artifacts, can cast circles and perform rituals. He knows when to use the elder sign, salt, iron, silver, holy water, or sage. He can write and empower Angelic script, but he can't do things like cast a fireball or generate electricity. He's not even psychic, not really, but his eyes have been opened to what lies behind the veil of reality and he can now see things others cannot. He's been learning how to mess with the coding behind the interface that is reality, somewhat.

Viscer'ys has JUST arrived on Guildereim to enjoy The Golden Tether and all that it has to offer, but he comes from areas where slavery is illegal. He's been slowly learning a thing or two, but really he's just scratched the surface and hasn't even rented his first slave yet! (He's working up to it!) Expect him to occasionally make an ass of himself, and more often then not to grow embarrassed.
One might catch him frequenting the library, especially the hidden section full of dark tomes, if they know where to look. The real reason he's come to the Tether.

We are seeking family, friends, enemies, or just random public RP with patrons, slaves, and staff. There could be arcane musings, a little blood letting, or perhaps just a social smoke in the opium den. I'm not picky. I do hope that there will be reasons for his skills to be of use, and am not opposed to a summoning or three!

We are also on the look out for demonic 'servants,' possibly to summon and enslave, but the details of such could span a wide range of appearances when implemented.

I'm an adult male, married with kids at home. I need you to be of adult age, and need your characters to be of adult age, if we're going to RP in any way. Aside from that, I don't have any rules for interacting with me, though I will take this moment to ask for patience, in advance, should real life stuff get in the way of RP.

I'm interested in the supernatural, mythology, religion, obviously because look at this character. You might have seen me around TGT playing Purrcival, Ammon Zahur, or Jinx Requiem. There have been a few others, but those three were my mains over the years.

I see RP as a shared story being written by multiple people, and view us as writers more than RPers.
I don't know what else to put here, but I'm sure if we RP you'll get to know me on the side. It happens.
