Elder Marlowe

Marlowe was once a Knight, set on protecting his kingdom.
Marlow was tasked with the duty of killing a far off monster in a mountainside.
Upon entering this mountain, Marlowe stumbled on a huge cave of gold and treasures beyond anyone dreams.
However, he could not take any of it, for a large dragon stood guard among the many piles.
And, it attacked him.
But, luckily for Marlowe he was a well seasoned Knight, and slayed the dragon with his great bow.

But the dragon would turn into a simple maiden.
Thanking him for freeing her.
Marlowe soon realized that after he had killed the beast, suddenly he began to feel strange and passed out.

When Marlowe woke, he was high in the air, and his hands felt stiff and scaley.
To Marlowe's horror, the curse had been passed onto him.
And, now he resides as an Accursed Human, guardian of the trove of gold and treasures.
Marlowe can leave the cave, and he will return as a man.
But, his hunger for gold and treasure only grows stronger the farther he is from the cave.

This has made him commit actions he would likely never do!
And so, Marlowe decided if he could not control his hunger for gold.
Then he would turn the trove into his kingdom.
And after some time, it would take quite a while for him to convince people to join him, and build him a kingdom.
For he felt most comfortable by the mounds of gold.

Therefore he had his kingdom made in it.
Complex structures weaved with gold. Clothes of golden lace.
His kingdom glistened in the suns rays.
And so he could walk among his people as a man, and sit on his throne as a king!
Richest of all, yet, whenever he enters the cave he becomes a dragon.

But it seems not even this was enough to sate him.
It worked for a while, but his hunger only grew more and more.
So losing his mind he turned all his people to golden statues!
Some of his most loyal knights still reside at his side.
But, they seem just as mad as him, which maybe the only reason why he hasn't turned them to gold.

The king hunger only grows more and he loses himself to the beast.
Will nothing end this miserable curse?!?

Marlowe is a large man with bronzing skin that matches well with his yellow eyes and dark long ashy black hair.
His hair reaches past his shoulders. He has a long beard. And thick brows.
The man is well built with muscle and scars to match.
He wears usually simple robes if not wearing his armor.
But of course this is when he is human.

Marlowe is an Accursed Human, who takes the form of a gluttonous black and grey ash dragon.
Doomed to watch over an enormous trove of gold and treasure.
The dragons eyes are yellow, with large black wings and a huge long tail.
Horns jet from its head.

Marlowe's Knights.
These lost fools have had their minds warped. Altered by the golden trove that Marlowe protects.
It is believed that the whole place is cursed and warps the mind of the innocent easily tempted.
Loyally these knights will fight for Marlowe, and are willing to die at his command.

Marlowe's Swords
Marlowe has two swords he uses, one which is a regular long sword. And the other a heavy Great sword.
They both have been fashioned to best fit his swift and yet very heavy attack style.

Many of his knights will carry around average long swords. But, none are like Marlowes.
His knights can also carry around Large Dragon wing like shields.
And some even carry rally banners.
As hollow as they maybe, they do understand battle together, and are quick to aid eachother!!
