Eirny was walking around in the old library of her mentor. She was once again alone, something she hasn't been accustomed to in many years. Her mentor was a kind soul whom other stayed away from for some reason. It was mostly because of him being a god of night, but he was very kind so there really was no true reason she could see. As she began to think of her mentor fondly her hand stopped again and old leather covered book. She took it out of the bookshelf, dust flying in her face as she does so. She reminds herself to dust once she is finished looking around again. She opens the bland cover to see that it is a photo album and tears well up in her eyes. She sees a young version of herself smiling at her mentor. She sighs and decides to look through it, even when she knows it will only cause her more heartache.

Elsewhere, a young boy was also looking through a book, although one of a very different nature. Vinny slowly leafed through the pages of the ancient tomb, his eyes gazing over the ornate text that it contained. On one page, a diagram of a circle of sorts. He nodded, and whispered to himself, "This might work." The hair on the back of his next rose in anticipation, or was it another presence causing it? He wasn't sure. Though it was true he had been experiencing more paranormal sightings and sensations in the past couple of months, he had yet to actually communicate with any presences. Yes, Vinny intended to communicate with a spirit that night.

Vinny reached for his notebook and a pen and began to write a list of the supplies he would need. "Candles...matches...some kind of offering..." he trailed off, his mind wandering to the leftover Chinese takeout in the fridge. "I hope the spirit I contact likes General Tso's," he murmured.

Eirny was in tears just looking at the old photos. Some that must've been taken right before he passed. In those pictures he looked like he knew and he gave a gentle yet sad smile to her.
