The Navins tentacle wrapped around the small object Pix held out with one hand, "What is it?," they asked slowly, lifting it towards one of their eyes to get a better view of it.

"I have no idea, but can clearly feel an energy source inside of it," Pix began with an excited tone, "On top of that, I've managed to determine it's older than even my homeworld! This thing is easily millions of years old! Something that has retained an internal power source that long.....just imagine how much this will be worth!"

The blue squid like alien stared at the small capsule a moment before proceeding, "Where did you find this?....wait, don't answer that. I don't want to know."

"Can you help me open it? I will share the profits with you if you do...." Pix asked.

"Yes....I do have an idea we could try...."

10 minutes later

Pix stood with her mouth agape at the desecrated corpse of her companion. Whatever it was that had been released, that she had released from that capsule had flown out and shredded them quickly. It then took one seeming look at her, and flew out the window. This was supposed to be her big break, the sale to retire by, but instead she had just witnessed her long time business partner killed before her and the murderer escaped out the window. No one was going to believe she didn't do it, besides even if they had....that was an artifact she was supposed to have categorized and submitted to her own government, she'd be in at least as much trouble if they did believe her.

Pix made the horrible decision to flee, leave the scene and act as though nothing had happened. No one had seen anything anyway. She can take a shuttle off the planet and return to her peoples space and simply move on with her life. As she walked towards the door, she takes one glance back towards the window and freezes.

Someone's eyes are staring back at her....

For this rp I'm looking for a curious person who would have for whatever reason decided to spy on Pix and her friend when this scene occured. It could be they were watching Pix and followed her, or that they were just curious and decided to spy, whatever it is applicants can discuss their ideas with me during setup.

This is a sci fi set on a trade world, aliens of all kinds frequent the place so most any alien will do so long as they seem to fit the scenario. There will be a level of peril in this setting so OP characters will not be able to come. Something relative to Pix's own strength will be fine though. I'll probably take sci fi based humans, but I'd really prefer original alien races for this rp.

Romance is optional. The truth is if you want a romance with Pix it would be very difficult to accomplish, so for the most part it's not likely to happen. If it does it would have to be a sensible decision she would make.

No sexual scenes or smut, if it ever came to it I might FTB but if you can get that far with Pix you deserve a medal.

Please do not control Pix or any other characters I deem the need or desire for total control of. If I ever think theres uncertainty about that I'll mail you to confirm, and feel free to ask. I don't plan to dominate the plot and additional characters brought in at times are perfectly fine so long as we're not derailing in the process.

I am looking for para/multi para literate responses written in 3rd person. Mistakes happen but please put some effort into it. I understand the need for one or two paragraph responses from time to time but usually an average of 3+ is what I'm looking for. I cant do concise or one liners.

Imma trying to get into some sci-fi stuff since I haven’t done that a whole ton. Is use Vol. I don’t put too much detail on profiles cause it leaves lots of room. Especially for Vol cause they can be different genders depending on the rp.
