How do I change my password?

  1. Log in.
  2. Open your account menu (appears as your username in the top right of the header, or at the bottom of the menu on mobile)
  3. Click "Account Settings" on the submenu
  4. Choose "Change Password" from the sidebar (at the bottom on mobile)
  5. Enter your current password, then enter the password you want to change to twice.
  6. Click Save Changes.

How do I change my username?

  1. Log in.
  2. Open your account menu (appears as your username in the top right of the header, or at the bottom of the menu on mobile)
  3. Click "Account Settings" on the submenu
  4. Choose "Change Username" from the sidebar (at the bottom on mobile)

You may adjust the capitalization of your username at any time. However, for more serious changes, you will either need to purchase a name change token or be given one by an admin.

When you change your username, a notification will be sent to your friends and placed on your profile. The old username will be held in reserve for six months to prevent cases of mistaken identity. Your friends need a chance to get used to you with your new name, before someone else signs up with that name and starts confusing them! After that six month period, your old username will be up for grabs.

How do I change my account email?

  1. Log in.
  2. Open your account menu (appears as your username in the top right of the header, or at the bottom of the menu on mobile)
  3. Click "Account Settings" on the submenu
  4. Choose "Change Account Email" from the sidebar (at the bottom on mobile)
  5. Enter your new desired email address twice.
  6. Click "Save Changes"

You may need to re-verify your email address once you've changed it.

How do I change my email notification settings?

  1. Log in.
  2. Open your account menu (appears as your username in the top right of the header, or at the bottom of the menu on mobile)
  3. Click "Account Settings" on the submenu
  4. Choose "Alert Settings" from the sidebar (at the bottom on mobile)
  5. Adjust how often you'd like to receive email notifications, and which things to notify you about.
  6. Click "Save Changes"

How do I change my birthday?

Because birthdays are not something that change over the course of a person's life, there is no simple way to change the birth date associated with your account.

However, if you entered your birth date incorrectly when you registered, you can contact us for help.

Be aware that if you are seeking to make a change that will take you from being a minor to an adult, we may require proof of birthdate.

How do I close my account?

  1. Log in
  2. Open your account menu (appears as your username in the top right of the header, or at the bottom of the menu on mobile)
  3. Click "Account Settings" on the submenu
  4. Choose "Close Account" from the sidebar (at the bottom on mobile)
  5. Check all the boxes and enter your password
  6. Click "Close Account"
