Welcome!! I’m new to this site, but I’ll do my best to make a decent profile ^^
ABOUT ME
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had an interest in it. When I was really little, I’d make my own “books”, illustrated in crayon. My parents never failed to hype me up. I still enjoy writing, though perfectionism and procrastination have made things difficult. I’ve found that writing with someone else keeps me motivated and less likely to drop a story, so here we are! I have around five or so years of experience roleplaying, having started sometime in middle school. I’d like to think I’ve gotten pretty good at it!
WHAT I WRITE
Words cannot describe how much I love writing nonhuman characters. I love creating my own strange and beautiful humanoid creatures, especially with a human companion alongside them. I love anything sci-fi and fantasy especially, and if you throw a dash of slow burn romance in along with that then I’m hooked! As a gay man myself, I usually write MxM romance, but depending on the plot and characters I could be persuaded.
HOW I WRITE
As for my style, I write exclusively in third person past-tense. It’s just what makes the most sense to me! When writing with me, you can expect two-four paragraphs per response on average, though it could go shorter depending on how much there is to write about. I write very descriptively and usually go into my character’s thoughts and feelings very deeply, so I’d love if any writing partners of mine could do the same!
Before jumping into writing, I like to discuss plot and characters a bit. I like having a laid out description of both characters, whether that is in the form of a linked character or a copied character sheet. I don’t have any preference! Once things have been talked out and we have come to a mutual understanding, I usually love writing starters so don’t stress about asking me to do so!
WHAT I DON’T WRITE
I’d consider myself a fairly versatile writer, but I won’t do any self-harm or suicidal themes aside from mention of them occurring in the past. If the context is unusual then feel free to discuss with me though! I won’t do smut for the sake of smut, either, and should we come to a scene like that I’d like to write just enough that you can get an idea of where things go, and then fade to black. I have a long-term and loving partner, and it just makes me uncomfortable to do anything more than that with a stranger online- no offense, of course!
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
When looking for a writing partner, there are a few things I take into account. Firstly, I’d like to feel comfortable chatting OOC with you. Things happen in life and in writing, and I think it’s important to be able to communicate clearly about them! Secondly, someone who can match the level of my writing in both length and quality. This includes grammar and proper punctuation. Thirdly, I can’t always respond to a message right away- I’d like someone that can understand that I have a life outside of this site ^^’ And lastly, I’m only comfortable writing with someone within my age range. I am sixteen turning seventeen in a couple of months, so right now that means I only fel comfortable writing with those ages fifteen-nineteen. Sorry!

Oh my goodness. Rev is such an amazing writer. Despite us not roleplaying much so far, I say he is such an amazing and skilled writer. The way he writes and conveys emotion is amazing.
