Who I am: I am a whisper of untold tales, a basket of yarn and needles, a pillow of thread and bobbins, a bookshelf of old novels, a homecooked gourmet meal, and a well-loved camera.
What I prefer: I dislike birds, but I rather love watching hummingbirds. They remind me of the faeries of lore. I prefer quiet experiences to things. I could spend hours in a library just combing the stacks, sitting in an art museum for an entire day, or just people watching behind a window of a café. I like music that moves in sweeping motions - give me a full orchestra any day - though I can appreciate a song with a beat that can change the rhythm of my heart. I enjoy watching my breath on a cold morning, which is hilarious because I loathe the cold. I rather love to dance, though I believe I'm as graceful as an ox. I live for the lights and the sounds of the big city. I love romantic comedies and romance movies in general, but I cannot stand romance novels. I have a soft spot for disaster movies, especially bad ones. I live for long drives with a manual transmission car through quiet curvy roads when the world seems still and you're flying between the shadows, with only music moving through your speakers. I like my steak bleu - though I'll settle for rare, my wine sweet, my martini with olives, my bourbon neat, my desserts to barely touch upon the sweet, my chocolate dark, my coffee black, and my cigars smooth. I prefer the rain to the sun, the night to the day, and the ocean to the mountains.
