From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

I have had the pleasure of meeting EBG some time in October shortly after receiving the book that she co-wrote with a friend: Save Yourself from Burnout: A System to Get Your Life Back. She is a sweet, caring, supportive person and mother, and I have to say that it is in part thanks to her and her book that I've been able to move on in my life after my major burnout and depression this year. I have a job now in part thanks to being able to shift my perspective thanks to her book and guidance. - FreeJayFly

In the past year or so, EBG has taught me so many valuable life lessons that I'm not quite sure how to give appropriate praise that reflects the impact she's had on me. I'm stronger, more self-aware, more capable and all around healthier thanks to her endlessly patient guidance. EBG seems like a really awesome and supportive mom, you can see that in the fact she made an entire account and has kept it active for the five or more years her daughter has been working on it, Genuinely an awesome and loving parent. - Manofmanyfaces

I've not known EBG for very long, but it's more than clear to me she's a beautiful person who values honesty, truth and kindness above all else. She's very hard working and wants to make the world a better place (successfully so I'd say!) and I respect her immensely for it. It's not hard to see where Kim has gotten her epicness from.
