Ro-Den is a rundown place, with cracked streets where there are streets and flickering lamps. Travellers don't pass through this town - it's the end of its own road. The population is almost entirely generations after generations of the same descendants. The hopeless wanderers who end up in Ro-Den tend not to stay long before turning back.
The only one sight worth seeing in Ro-Den: The Welspire. A triangle-based tower that once taught some of the world's most powerful sorcerers and illusionists, but has since been abandoned, and fallen into disrepair, the story traded again and again within the boundaries of the town, but rarely spreading outside. The rare archaeologist or historian hoping to explore the towers are chased away by the people of Ro-Den.
The Welspire is not quite as dormant as they tell you.

There weren't many people on the street to see Bohai sprinting away from the Welspire. Reaching the front edge of town, they slowed to a stumble, gasping for breath, then shoved their way into the tea shop, the busiest place in town (though that wasn't saying much). Blue jumpsuit matted with sweat, their figure filled the doorway.
"By the Welspire," Bohai panted. "I saw something! It attacked me!"
The locals at the tea shop looked nothing more than inconvenienced by the outburst. The shopkeeper just pursed his lips and said, "Bo, go outside. We have customers."
"I didn't imagine it," breathed Bohai, though they already looked dejected. They straightened up and looked around, hanging in the doorway. Of course the people of Ro-Den wouldn't be interested. They needed people from outside.
