Terathia, a northern region encompassing the middle part of the continent. Home to cold winters and sprawling with lush evergreen forests with vast amounts of bushels, ferns, and algae. Not to mention the rocky landscape towards the south, with many a cliff and large, cold ravines cutting through hills. Near the eastward part of this region lies Zanzorse. A relatively small village with a large stone ramparted wall wrapping around it, with stone arches going over the southward gate. The town inside consist of many small wooden houses and buildings, with the folk inside coming from many diverse races, even a few Nagas can be seen "walking" around. Though, the majority of the population is very much human-like.

In the middle of the village, lies the Lord's Manor. The place where the people were said to meet at noon. It is a very large building, being three stories high and made of different kinds of wood and stone, and two great etched doors at the entrance, which lead into the Lord's hall, with the Lord's Throne near the back, and dark hallways towards the sides. A long wooden table rests in the space between the throne and the doors, and many servants, clothed in woven and linen fabrics frantically run around the manor. While a few other groups or mercenaries, travelers, and other people are waiting around waiting for the Lord to speak, some sitting at the table themselves. The inside is lit by hanging lanterns and candles, creating a rather dim, but soft glow on the inside.

The Lord himself sits upon his throne. He wears steel armor, with ornate pauldrons depicting serpentine dragons, and a red robe hanging from his shoulders. He wears a large horned helm, and his entire body is covered in steel. To the side of his throne lays a steel one handed, scandinavian-esque sword, with it's pommel bearing a red gemstone and the edges of it's blade colored crimson. You would also be able to notice the many hanging heads of beasts lined on some of the walls. From wargs to even some types of wild dragons.

It's almost noon, and the meeting's about to start. Better hurry and get inside...
Verlin Calder (played by koroni)

To his credit, Ver wasn't late. He found his way into the hall, giving his surroundings a brief but interested glance.
Perhaps some in here would recognize him. If not by name, surely by his outfit. His jacket was built almost like armour but was made of scales, red with a silver gleam, and the matching boots with them. It would almost look ceremonial without the sooty gloves and small sword hanging from his belt.
He was a bit of a hero, he often claimed, but a small one. Perhaps if any of these folks hailed from the area near his shop, they'd know of the dragonslayer. As it was, he made no assumptions, giving smiled and nodded greetings to anyone who met his eyes.
He took a place at the table, leaning on the chair instead of sitting, stance relaxed. The red scales made the dark man stand out among the crowd.
Aranea Highwind (played anonymously)

Aranea arrived at the manor after days of asking around for the location written in that paper she got from a traveling merchant. Wearing a black hooded robe to hide her armor and the hood which covered most of her face only revealing her mouth only, as she enters the manor, she sees many servants running around, and a lot of mercenaries that probably came for the same reason as she did. Aranea ignores everyone as she walks past every person and headed straight to a room were majority of the mercenaries were waiting. Aranea stand in the corner listening only to the surrounding as she wait in silent for whoever owned the manor.

(This RP has a situational post order. That means it only takes effect if the group enters into combat or some other thing like that. I will clearly state whenever it is active and vice versa. Here is the current post order. Me (with exceptions.) -> Ver -> Aranea -> Nalia -> Me *continues* And no, it is not active right now.)

After a few moments filled with quiet chatter from the other groups of mercenaries and other people of that sort huddled inside and around the table, the manor begins to quiet down as the servants stop scurrying about the place. The Lord rises up off of his throne, with a few clinks accompanying his movements. He walks over to the table and takes a seat. "Welcome all. I thank you for coming all this way to help with this errand." Another servant walks over to the table, having been gestured to by the Lord. The servant is a weak looking girl, seeming to be only about ten years of age. She walks over and opens up a large map of the region, and puts it on the table. She walks off back into one of the hallways, and a few of the mercenaries walk over to the table to get a closer look.

"A few of you might've known why I am seeking help. Recently, some sort of summoner or necromancer has been holding up in the nearby areas of woodland. Making all sorts of undeath attack my main village, and a few of the smaller ones. With them killing some of the villagers and guards trying to keep them out. It continues to be a problem, as they are starting to get inside the walls, and they have begun to hunt travelers and merchants in the night. I do not know for sure how long we can keep defending this village, as the amounts of undeath equate to about the size of a small army, and who knows how many more linger we haven't been able to slay in the nearby wilderness." He picks up a lantern from beside his chairs, and lights it, putting it on one of the corners of the map. "However, they only seem to rise every two days, and they all dissapear back into the woodland during the day, most likely to make them attack at night when they are harder to see. Now, my scouts have located seven possibilities of where this necromancer or whatever it is may be."

"To the very north, about two days away, there lies a set of crypts where it seems some of them have been coming from. To the south east, there is an old abandoned monastery, which seems to have some sort of runes inside it. To the far west, about three days away and past one of my villages, there lies an old overgrown manor, nestled in a cave. This is also a place of interest, but there have been only a few undeath spotted around the area. About a day away to the east lies an old tomb, which has also been seen to have undeath coming out of it. And several other places to the north east, and south west were seen to have many amounts of undeath surrounding the area. You all will be split up into your respective teams, and you all will be paid bags of thirty five golden coins, and you may keep to yourselves anything you may happen to find at any of these aforementioned locations." He stands up from his chair. "Any questions?"
Verlin Calder (played by koroni)

Ver pulled his chair out and took a seat the moment the Lord started towards them. Folding his hands on the table, he waited patiently.
He had yet to ever meet a necromancer who wasn't some sort of malicious. Then again, could anyone who defaces the dead so really be anything but? He reclined in his chair when the spiel was coming to an end. Having no questions, he just nodded, and mumbled, "Yes, milord," then searched the faces of the crowd.
Aranea Highwind (played anonymously)

Having the overview on the mission. Aranea stayed silent and still in the corner only to scan the crowd of mercenaries only to wait to join whoever is left with no team yet.
To her this is another hunting job only this time it's a necromancer causing the problems, instead of the usual beasts or rogue soldiers she usually hears.
