The express is an interdimensional train that stretches on without end. Each cabinet is unique and can house all sorts of vices and luxuries for the passengers to pass the time. It serves as a mode for travel between worlds, and whenever someone traverses between the universes, they materialize within its compartments. Whenever occupants reach their terminus, they're ripped from the pocket space and emerge within the world of choice. No one knows who operates the train or when it came into being.
However, many have tried and have been driven mad. If one were to peer out its windows, they're met with an otherworldly sight. A sea of galaxies stretched as far as the eye can see. And whenever someone reaches a stop, a board game representation of the world emerges only to fade once they are forcefully ejected. The servants who tend to the customers are clockwork entities. And even if destroyed, they reappear as if nothing occurred. The lighting around the train is multicolored crystals attached to fixtures. And a complex network of piping runs along the walls to propel power. One can run for an eternity toward the front or the back of the locomotive, only to be met with an infinite and never-ending span of varying enclosures. And no two are the same.
