Hello! This Roleplay will require you to play two characters! I will handle any NPC that comes our way. This is also advance lit so 2+ paragraphs! Lastly, I would prefer if your characters were different gender, whether that be male, female, non-binary, etc. I just don’t want them to be the same gender.
Please come willing to plot! Here is the plot:
For hundreds of years, Elves ruled over the Kingdom of Aisling. Elves lived long and had strong magic, one elvish king was enough to last generations of humans. Unfortunately, King Fjord was not a kind elf and ruled his Aisling with a bloody fist covered in blood that is not his own. It wasn’t until one man made a deal with the dragons, an everlasting partnership that gave those who were bonded to a dragon access to the dragon’s magic. The only magic that can rival an Elf’s.
The man became a dragon rider along with his younger brothers. The men and their dragons overthrew Fjord and exiled he and those who supported him.
Thus the 300 year reign of the Dragon Rider began.
After 300 years, the dragon riders still maintain the throne. King Rickard and Queen Lyra rule over peacefully and greatly. Every member of the royal family and royal guard was a dragon rider. The dragons who were partnered with the king and queen ruled equally.
Rickard and Lyra had three children: their eldest, Brant, who is being groomed for the throne, their second eldest son Calum is hoping to lead the royal guard one day, and then there is the 12 year old daughter, Fira.
When a Dragon Rider is pregnant, an egg is chosen and usually hatches on the day of the child’s birth. The dragon is big enough to ride at 5 years old and is fully grown by their 10th year.
Fira and her dragon have always been close and while she has always been on the wild side, the young girl was a prodigy in flying. She was too young and born a female so she did not know how to fight when Fjord took back Dragon’s Fort, the capitol of Aisling.
One of your other characters is the one who helps her escape with dragon after her family and their dragons are slaughtered
